Going at it again!
PARK SIHOO-SSI’S DRAMATIC THANKSGIVING FESTIVAL 2017 – DRAMATIC ENCOUNTER SERIES
I wasn’t planning on writing or posting anything today because my mind is in a blank state. I am totally exhausted! But here I am, at it again! And all because of posts last night and this morning by Park Sihoo-ssi and his rascal cats Jami and Dami sharing their latest!
Not sure if you ever have the same experience, but when something exciting is happening, my mind and body are simply at top gear. I feel very driven, passionate and supercharged. I want to be on the go all the time. So whatever I do, they will be very intense and I can keep on going and going and going.
And when it is all over, I would feel totally deflated, my mind blank, and I can’t seem to have the energy to do anything. That is exactly the state I am in now. I need some rest and relaxation to refresh and recuperate myself so that I can get myself going again.
Just like Park Sihoo-ssi, I wish I could be in the tranquil surroundings of Arima Onsen, letting myself be one with nature. Arima Onsen is an old hot spring town in the Rokko Mountain range behind Kobe city, within a couple of hours’ drive from Kansai Airport. Perched on the steep mountains, it is the oldest onsen in Japan, having welcomed Japanese Emperors, noblemen and other dignitaries in the past. Its unique historical architecture of shrines, temples and traditional houses have been well preserved despite a number of natural disasters.
Other than its rich history and picturesque surroundings, Arima Onsen’s famous natural “Kinsen” or golden hot spring and “Ginsen” or silver hot spring, with rich minerals found in the water, have been known for their healing powers.
Park Sihoo-ssi has an avid love for onsen and it is not a surprise that he would take the opportunity to visit Arima Onsen. I hope that the healing waters of this hot spring will help heal his injury and he will recover well and soon!
Now, I am game for some onsen experience! Going to see if I can go find one in or around Tokyo. I need some pampering for my sore muscles and to rejuvenate my mind! Some food for thought before I get going again!
