I have come across photos of this article many times but never got a chance to get a clear copy to be able to read the text and know what this article is all about.
Finally, I found a good version and hence thought to share what our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi said from an interview with L’Officiel Hommes or “The Official Men” he did with back in 2011. Interesting to hear what the then “Princess Man” had to say about his career and his achievements.

Q: When you look at your current status, can you say that your dream has come true?
PSH: I am accomplishing it. Things will be much better than before. I was 20 years old when I started acting. I didn’t know it would take so long to to come this far.
Q: Looking at your profile, it stated that “Sassy Girl Chun Hyang” was your debut work, but it was just an appearance.
PSH: I am sorry, but I can’t remember. Of course it was a minor role. It cannot be called a debut work. At that time, I played countless such small roles.
Q: Students majoring in acting left the theater just like that.
PSH: That’s right. I have only walked one way since I majored in acting.
Q: What was the hardest thing about walking (Nance: down this path)?
PSH: It is the uncertainty. Why is this when it should have worked if I could get started? Now that I think about it, I don’t know why I believed it would work with no basis. (Laugh) It was difficult when my expectations changed under uncertainty, but I persisted due to my optimistic personality.
Q: Is patience one of the important qualities of being an actor?
PSH: That’s right. A positive mindset that one day it will work is also important. Most of the colleagues who started together gave up along the way and ended up doing other things. I endured it and came this far. Believe in yourself.
Q: What did you believe in?
PSH: Perseverance. (Laugh) I have always liked long distances rather than short distances. Once I start, I will complete it. I don’t know how to give up.
Q: Are you happy now?
PSH: Naturally. I will be even happier in the future.
Q: Now that you are in your mid-30s, do you think you are now an adult? (Nance: likely meaning more mature?)
PSH: Yes, I already know what to do.
Q: What are the criteria for distinguishing men who know better from men who don’t?
PSH: A sensible man has a clear goal. The man who is not wanders about without a goal.
Q: Where do you want to go as an actor?
PSH: I have a goal. But it is a secret.
Q: Maybe to be a Korean Wave “Hallyu” star like Bae Yongjoon? There are many things you can get if you became a Korean wave star. Do you want to see works that will capture the Korean Wave?
PSH: Even now, I have many foreign fans, and in February I am planning to visit Japan, Taiwan, and China for fan meetings. Rather than wanting to meet a Korean Wave work, I want to take on a piece of work that I have never tried before.
Q: Is that why you chose the movie “Confession of Murder” which will be released in spring?
PSH: I chose it because I can show a character that I have never been seen before. I was lucky to get a chance to play the role of a murderer after I dropped hints here and there.
Q: I don’t know if it is a compliment, but you will look good as a psychopath.
PSH: It is a compliment. I have dreamt of acting in a role like Edward Norton in the movie “Prima Fear”
Q: This is your first movie, what are the difficulties?
PSH: I have more time than a drama. I also have time to think about the work. However, I started filming two days after “The Princess Man” is over so sometimes the story of a historical drama just comes out.
Q: “The Princess’ Man” is popular and you would want to win an award at the year-end awards ceremony.
PSH: I will be grateful if I get an award. Honestly, I hope it all goes well.
Q: If you had time to rest after the drama, what would you have done?
PSH: I tried to go on a trip to Europe. I have never been to Europe other than Turkey.
Q: What kind of trip would you take?
PSH: It will be a more random trip than a planned one. If at dawn I suddenly wanted to go, I will take action immediately. I have traveled to New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles alone.
Q: Isn’t it lonely to travel alone?
PSH: When I go, I will have acquaintances there. In addition, if I have a girlfriend, we will travel together.
Q: I want to believe that you don’t have a girlfriend.
PSH: It has been four years since I have been in love. It is not easy to meet because I work all the time.
Q: It seems you prefer a fateful encounter rather than meeting through an introduction?
PSH: Yes. As you know, encounters where you are attracted to each other at first sight are rare.
Q: Let us say you fell in love at first sight with a woman trying to cross the street. What would you do? I heard you are shy with strangers.
PSH: Yes, But when I met her for the first time about four years ago, I made the first approach. I amazed the people around me with the courage to do that. If I missed it, I would have regretted it.
Q: What kind of woman would you react to at the pedestrian crossing?
PSH: A cute but elegant woman will be good. The feeling of fascination is important.
Q: What kind of person would you love?
PSH: At first I will be indifferent. I don’t have many romance, but once I fall in love, I rush without seeing anything.
Q: When you are absorbed in your work, you don’t get to fall in love.
PSH: Work is work and romance is romance.
Q: What do you think love is?
PSH: Well, what do you think love is?
Q: Yes?
PSH: You see. I really don’t know what love is.
Q: You are old enough to start a family and become a father. What kind of father do you want to be?
PSH: What kind of father will I be when I can’t fall in love? (Laugh) I haven’t even thought about it. The seniors around me are making a fuss about getting married soon. If I have children, I will be in a different world. But it is still a long way for me.
Q: What kind of son were you?
PSH: I was neither a good nor bad son. I was a child without a strong presence. At home, my younger brother was the main expectation. From an early age, he was very good at baseball and was expected to succeed.
Q: Your parents must have been surprised to hear that their son, who was like a shadow, wants to become an actor.
PSH: They said, “We really have to stop him.” Both my parents are supporting me now.
Q: Your father was a model. Did you dream of getting started in the entertainment world because of your father?
PSH: My dream was more influenced by watching many movies from an early age than by seeing my father. Since I was a little kid, I held his father’s hand and went to the cinema. I am thankful for that as parents don’t usually bring their children to the theater. From that time on, I have longed to become like the actors on the screen.
Q: You must have made a lot of money these days. What did you give to your parents as gifts?
PSH: My father joked that his car’s engine wouldn’t start, so I gave him a car as a gift. It was satisfying to see him brag to his friends.
Q: What about your mother?
PSH: My mother manages my income anyway.
Q: Do you know how much you earn?
PSH: I don’t care about my income. I don’t spend much money. I don’t have much free time as I am filming every day. I like high-tech devices such as cameras, but even these have been gifts from fans. I haven’t shopped for a long time.
Q: If I looked at Twitter, I see that you have been steadily posting your photos.
PSH: I am interested in cameras, but I do so for the purpose of communicating with my fans.
Q: You will also post photos of drinking soju at a neighborhood food stall. You want to give a friendly impression?
PSH: I can’t drink alcohol at all. I shared it to commemorate the day I happened to have a drink.
Q: What are you most interested in right now? Without talking about movies.
PSH: I am searching for a camper van every day. One that is quite spacious and luxurious. Instead of buying a campervan that cost hundreds of million dollars, I want to buy a smaller one. I also often see interior photos. I want to build my own house someday.
Q: What kind of house will it be?
PSH: It will be a resort in the center of the city. It would be nice if there were a Jacuzzi outside, with rooms and connected bathrooms, even if there is no pool.
Q: You will need a lot of money.
PSH: I will be able to do it someday.
After the drama “The Princess’ Man”, no, “Prosecutor Princess”, and even before that, Actor Park Sihoo has shot to the top of the fiercely competing list of male actors in their 30s. His new energy and contemporary appearance which is widely popular with men and women of all ages, are enough to arouse interest.
In particular, since the theme of L’Officiel Hommes’ New Year’s issue is “30s,” which young man in his 30s is fresher, more popular, and more dedicated than Park Sihoo? Anyway, Kim Woori, a staff member of Park Sihoo’s stylist and visual director, is doing her best to take photos of Park Sihoo for L’Officiel Hommes during the sweet off-season. Not only that, she taught the seniors on the set a styling with an outstanding feeling and brought out wonderful visuals. Photographer Kim Youngjoon silently captured the angle of his upper body to reveal Park Sihoo’s new appearance, which is hard to see on the screen. Lim Hyekyung, who is in charge of hairstyles and makeup, also helped Park Sihoo’s successful transformation. L’Officiel Hommes would like to express our gratitude to Park Sihoo for his enthusiasm and taking a variety of shots from upper body exposure to extreme close-ups!
