Another year has passed by and today we are celebrating yet another anniversary of Park Sihoo-ssi’s SBS weekend drama “Family Honor”. This is a well loved, evergreen family drama that has withstood the test of time.

Today, we hold the torch of fame for “Family Honor’s” fifteenth year! And the fame shines as bright as ever before. Likely due to the family genre that epitomized the traditional family values, supported by an engaging storyline that pulled at the heartstrings of its audience.

And more so the brilliant performances of its actors and actress and in particular, the leading man, Lee Kangsuk played by first time male lead Park Sihoo-ssi. This scorpion man made the difference, striking at the romantic at heart who love a good romance peppered with heartbreaks at times but all ending in true happiness.

Happy fifteenth anniversary Park Sihoo-ssi and “Family Honor”.  We will hold high the torch of fame for this emotionally charged drama for more years to come! Daebak!

Silently, unknowingly love crept in

Last week, in our postings of  “Queen of Reversals”, we took an icky and then melancholic look at Park Sihoo-ssi’s Goo Yongsik. Did you like them, particularly our Oppa’s acting? Excellent right?

This week, we will share yet another of his drama but taking you on a different mood.  This time we take the romantic love approach. Like love crept in, silently and unknowingly.

What stared hilarious…

Yes, I am talking about Park Sihoo-ssi’s long ago drama “Family Honor” when he first took on the leading man role. So well he portrayed his scorpion man Lee Kangsuk that love crept in for his audience. They fell in love with both the drama character and the actor who played this role and made “Family Honor” into an evergreen family classic, even to this day!

Enjoy this unforgettable scene at the “Once in the Blue Moon” when love crept in on Lee Kangsuk without him being aware. He fell deeply despite flaws and all with his tone death, can’t sing for nuts lady love!

First time male lead years ago

Having been up to my eyeballs with work over the last few months and particularly last week, I have sadly neglected family time. Bonding with both the two legged and four legged family.

Finally, I managed to catch some time last weekend, albeit for a while, before I have to get back to the daily work crunch yet again.

Enchanted!

I know, it is my bad, especially when I get reminded in today’s article which shares highlights of Park Sihoo-ssi’s long ago drama “Family Honor”. It is one of those classic, evergreen dramas that would withstand the test of time through the family values it conveyed to its audience.

The transition from old to new and what the new should maintain so that good traditions can continue to endure.

“Family Honor” is a hot favorite among many Park Sihoo-ssi fans. Many discovered him, a first time leading man, through this drama. He stole their hearts and kept them ever since.

Time for family

I am one of those captivated. I love his scorpio man Lee Kangsuk and how love transformed him from a money minded man to one who valued love and family.

Sharing today are some of the highlights of “Family Honor”. I still enjoy very much the young Park Sihoo-ssi whose career really took off with this drama. His high caliber performance shone right through. Brilliant!

从旧到新的过渡以及新的应该保留什么好的传统才能继续存在。

“家门的荣光”是许多施厚君的粉丝们的最爱厚剧。 很多人是通过这部电影剧认识了他这位第一次当男主角的演员。 他偷走了她们的心，并一直保存至今。

First time male lead fourteen years ago

CELEBRATING THE 14th ANNIVERSARY OF PARK SIHOO-SSI’S “FAMILY HONOR”! 

庆祝施厚君的“家们的荣光”第14周年！

Today, we have another celebration. This time for a time tested, well loved Park Sihoo-ssi drama that is fourteen strong. Yes, we are talking about the evergreen family classic “Family Honor”.

Fourteen years ago today, we saw our Oppa took on the first drama where he had the starring male lead role. Okay, maybe when he was casted, he was not at the tope of the drama actors’ list as there were more seasoned actors cast in the drama. However, as the drama progressed, it was quite clear who was taking the lead and drawing the audience.

Now years later, “Family Honor” continues to be one of the best loved weekend dramas. It is fourteen strong and still as strong.  It must be that even though the world and time have evolved, the underlying “family values” still hold as strong. 

And of course, many of us are still charmed and just as emotionally attached to Park Sihoo-ssi’s scorpion man Lee Kangsuk and his beloved Ha Dana!

今天，还有另一个庆祝活动。这次是庆祝历经考验，深受喜爱的施厚君的电视剧的“四十强”，它的第14年纪日。是的，说的是常青的家族经典电视剧“家门的荣光”。

十四年前的今天，认证了偶吧施厚君上演了他的第一部当男主的电视剧。也许当时参演的时候，在戏剧演员排名单上，他不是排在前排，因为剧中的有人气和有经验的演员好多。不过随着剧情的播出，吸引观众的男主已经很明显了。

多年后的现在，“家门的荣光”仍然是受喜爱的周末剧之一。十四年后，仍然是强剧一部。因该是即使世界和时间已经演变，潜在的“家庭价值观”仍然如此强大。
