It is that time of the year when the Korean media wraps up the year with their reviews of the dramas aired during the year. Newsen gave their verdict and cited Park Sihoo-ssi’s “Wind, Cloud and Rain”. For me, this is the thumbs-up on a successful historical drama.
It concluded that TV Chosun once again showed its strength in historical dramas with “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비”.

Another winner for TV Chosun
Based on author Lee Byungju’s epic novel, “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비” is a work that showed freshness by adding fictional characters such as Choi Cheonjung (played by Park Si-hoo), the Kingmaker and Lee Bongryeon (played by Ko Sunghee), who is a supporter and a mysterious spirit. It was praised as a well-made historical drama for its actors’ good acting and beautiful visual beauty.
“Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비” even enjoyed the halo effect from TV Chosun’s popular entertainment show “Mr Trot”, The 27 June 2020 broadcast, which featured Lim Youngwoong, Young Tak, Lee Chanwon and Jang Minho, soared to 6.35 viewership.”

Superb historical kdrama ! Great storyline, intriguing plot, excellent acting and directing… plus beautiful cinematography and scenery set in the Joseon era. Hope Wind Cloud Rain aka Kingmaker Change of Destiny and all cast and crew win the best historical kdrama award for year 2020 ! 👍👍💯👏👏💪💪💖😃😃
