Man, he’s hot! And Park Sihoo-ssi definitely is! Both literally and figuratively!
The man’s hot on stage. And we saw it first hand during his Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival recently. You know it by the perspiration that was just dripping off his body with the amount of exertion he was expending, giving his all into his every performance. And his constant look out for his water bottle! The man drinks like a camel you would think! Kekeke! 😄
But much more than on stage, the man’s hot, especially in Japan! So well loved by his fans, so well respected in the industry, oh so popular! The last few months and the coming few months were and will be testament of how hot this man is!
Park Sihoo dramas playing across Japan
Many TV stations have been airing his dramas this year and more intensely from May to September 2017. The Princess Man, Cheongdamdong Alice, Prosecutor Princess, Unsung Hero…even “How to meet a perfect neighbor” from long ago when he was still a newbie and not even in the lead role! From terrestrial TV to satellite to cable. From Osaka TV, TVQ Kyushu, BS11, Japan TV Plus, TBS, LalaTV, Ginga Channel, Nitteleplus….! Even his first movie “Confession of Murder” got repeat airtime on NECO movie channel, when its Japanese remake launched its cinema run. Unprecedented phenomenon in Japan and I am quite certain no other K-actor has ever achieved such an amazing feat! Hot! Park Sihoo-ssi definitely is!
Nitteleplus has been airing exclusive interviews with the man in short segments recently, starting from 20 June 2017. Covering his dramas, filming of his action and kiss scenes to Japanese food and Japanese language! Not only that, they will be featuring four of his dramas on their channel from June through August 2017.
Superb Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival will be broadcast on TV
Park Sihoo-ssi’s Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival in three cities with five uniquely different performances were keenly followed and played to near capacity audience. By his fans, this was a given, including many who followed his footsteps every step of the journey. His commanding performances were reported in Japan’s key entertainment media including Korepo, Navicon, Ranran Entame, TBS and more. Not only that Nitteleplus will be running a full feature of his Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival and airing the Fukuoka event on 12 August 2017 and the full compilation in September 2017!

Action man Park Sihoo-ssi Ishiwada Japan
Japanese terrestrial broadcasting station BS-TBS has engaged Park Sihoo-ssi for a planned 60-minute special broadcast in the second half of this year, September 2017 tentatively. He was filmed in mid May 2017 in action in Japan’s Ishiwada surfing the waves, paragliding off the Shishiku Highland, cruising in a sports car along the region’s magnificent beach and indulging the local cuisine. Going by the photos he shared, I can’t wait to see more. The man looks absolutely gorgeous, a man of action!
Man, Park Sihoo-ssi is hot! He’s hot in Japan going by the intensity of his presence this year and the momentum is continuing to build up! Simply sizzling hot! Watch out!

Wonderful there is much adoration and adulation of him by his international fans and great to know the smart moves by the Japan TV stations to take turns or simultaneously broadcast his dramas and movies again and again. If I recall this round of rebroadcasting started in April and to think it will go on until September and perhaps even beyond. He is certainly hot and it makes sense to capitalise on his popularity. Sounds like music to our ears to know all this support for a Korean actor is unprecedented in Japan but then the entertainment circle in Japan is not blind to what can be discerned – a testimony that with Sihoo-ssi, its not just about him being good looking, but it’s also that he has so much charisma and talent, never failing to engage and mesmerising his audience and fans with powerful memorable performance. And furthermore, that illuminating personality, that aura we have discussed at length last week. Oh if only us non Japan fans have a chance to watch Nitteleplus’ broadcast in July/ September of his recent Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival!

It’s so rich your today article, Nance! For a hot man in these hot summer days it’s like an many flavors ice cream, PSH brand. But there is one missing, which is very dear to me: the Goo Yong Shik flavor.
QOR is not one of the Japanese television choices. Why? And why GYS did not count among the Dramatic Festival protagonists?
I had wondered as well Daniela, since I learned that QoR and in particular PSH as GYS was extremely well received in Japan. Then I offered this self explanation — perhaps this gem is to be reserved for special focus in the limelight on another special occasion…..
I don’t know the reason why QOR was not selected, even though it top among all of his drama in Japan from a survey done a couple of years back.

Currently my Korean drama channel is airing Hwang Tai See, the lead female actress of QOR in another K drama where she is of rather similar role as her role in QOR. I keep looking at the bad boy man in this K drama and kept comparing him to our PSH though it is a different story. But you know me, I am not interested to find out these other actors’ names not even quite bothered with the name of the drama, but good to have some pictures flashing about in front of my eyes meaning I am watching mindlessly, when I am taking a break from my intense June related end of financial year works.
