As we celebrate the start of the Year of the Rat, we are also celebrating the first anniversary of Park Sihoo-ssi’s drama “Babel”!

Yes, it was one year ago today when our favorite actor appeared for the first time on TV Chosun as Prosecutor Cha Woohyuk. It was also the first time he has taken on a suspense melodrama.

And how did he fare?

You may call me biased, but I believe that if you have watched “Babel” and his performance, you too would say he was brilliant as the almost all poker-faced Prosecutor Cha. Being known as the Smiling Prince, it was one drama that we hardly see him smile. I bet you, it must have been tough for him to keep a straight face! Kekeke! 😄

Other than Park Sihoo-ssi’s excellent performance, “Babel” is worth watching over and over again for the excellent production and cinematography, good suspense storyline and certainly the superb performances of all the key actors and actresses It has lived up to the TV station’s commitment to “Babel” being a well made drama.

And another piece of good news is, come 3 April 2020, on our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi’s birthday, the “Babel” DVD will be released for the very first time in Japan! I am definitely getting my copy of this brilliant piece of work which I have enjoyed from start to finish!

庆祝“通天塔(哑铃）”的第一周年

庆祝鼠年开始的当时，我们也一起庆祝施厚君的电视剧“ 通天塔（哑铃）” 的第一周年！

是的，一年前的今天，我们最喜欢的演员施厚君以检察官车宇赫的角色，首次亮相朝鲜电视TV Chosun。这也是他第一次接受悬念激情电视剧。

他的表现如何？

可能有些人会认为我有偏见，但我相信，如果妳们观看过“ 通天塔（哑铃）” 和施厚君在剧里的表演，妳们也会说他那几乎全场以扑克脸（pokerface）的车检察官人物演得特别杰出。被称为微笑王子的他，在剧里有那么少的微笑，要保持直脸一定很难吧！哈哈哈！😄

除了施厚君的出色表演之外，“ 通天塔（哑铃）” 是值得一遍又一遍地观看的电视剧。以其出色的制作和电影摄影，良好的悬念故事情节以及所有主要演员的精湛表演，是一部佳作，实现了电视台对“ 通天塔（哑铃）” 为一部出色电视剧的承诺。

另一个好消息是在2020年4月3日，在我们的偶吧Oppa 施厚君的生日那天，“ 通天塔（哑铃）” DVD将在日本首次发行！我一定要买来收藏，因为这部出色的作品是让我从头到尾都投入剧情中！

Our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi is certainly going places

Our favourite actor Park Sihoo-ssi is going places. It is not just his dramas, but also his travel features and his reality TV show.

Of his dramas, there is no doubt that they will definitely be going places. The quality of the productions and the calibre of acting speak for themselves. And with Park Sihoo-ssi in the lead, not only will they be aired in South Korea, but Japan is also most probable given his high standing and strong support in that coveted market.

Two cool dudes going on air in Japan soon!

Now, even his travel features, including Kanazawa and Ishigaki, all specially produced by Japanese TV, and his first reality TV production “Amazing Journey with Pets 개밥주는남자 개묘한여행” will be going places. Ah…least I forget, his recent Enishi event held in Myoko Japan in September 2019 will follow suit!

His travel features have already been shown on Japan TV on BS and KNTV channels and I am sure will be repeated every so often. Come March 2020 and his “Amazing Journey with Pets 개밥주는남자 개묘한여행” will go on air on KNTV! And for the first time, so will his Enishi reader event in Myoko, Japan. It will hit Japan on KNTV in March 2020 too!

Yeah, our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi is certainly going places! And guess what?

With the exception of Canada, we have gone to Kanazawa, Ishigaki and Myoko following his footsteps! Oppa is going places and so will we! Kekeke! 😄

毫无疑问，他的电视剧，到处都有播出，因为制作的质量和表演的能力不言而喻。凭借施厚君的演技，不仅会在韩国播出，而且由于他在那令人垂涎的日本市场的人气，地位和强大的支持，日本的播出也很有可能实现的。

他的旅行特辑已经在日本的BS和KNTV频道播放过，相信接下来还会经常重播的。现在，他的“给狗喂饭的男人–奇妙的旅行개밥주는남자– 개묘한여행”也将于2020年3月在KNTV播出！而首次，日本妙高的缘Enishi杂志读者活动也将于2020年3月在同一个播道播出！

A break…

Since almost everything and everyone seemed to have slowed down at this time of the year, out partying and celebrating, I thought it is also timely for me to take a break!

A break for a little while from our favorite actor Park Sihoo-ssi! Yes, but I am sure I will still constantly be thinking about him. What when I am following his footsteps all week starting tomorrow in Ishigaki, Japan! How not to remember his presence?

So, here is me, signing off for the rest of the year…I will be real quiet, unless something comes up, then I will surface.

既然在这个时候几乎所有事情和所有的人都缓慢了下来，都聚会和庆祝去了，我也缓慢休假去啦！

暂时与我们最喜欢的演员施厚君告别！是的，虽然休假，但是相信我仍然会一直在想念着他。明天我将去日本石垣岛游玩！一整周跟随着偶吧Oppa的脚步，怎么会忘记他呢？

所以，现在跟大家道别，直到明年，我会非常的安静，除非有事情发生，否则我不会冒泡的。

With you every single day

We are with you every single day!

Every single day, for close to five years now, I wrote and wrote and wrote, non-stop.

And ParkSihooSsi.com has carried article after article, after article, almost every day. The exception is Sunday when I try not to post anything. In fact it has been one more day with article than I have intended when I started this website. I had originally planned for Saturday and Sunday off!

And the number of articles each year doesn’t add up to 365 days less 52 Sundays. It has been much more as some days I write and post a few articles! On average on an annual basis, I have posted over 450 articles, and to-date, over 2,200 posts. Now, these numbers amaze even me!

Think of me every single day, okay?

Whether there is a post that day or not, Park Sihoo-ssi is on my mind every single day. My “little brother” and favorite actor. I will be thinking about what to write about him that would make interesting reads for our sisters at the main website ParkSihooSsi.com and on all its supporting social media including the Chinese Weibo, Facebook, Instagram and sometimes Youtube.

As I am thinking and writing about him daily, I hope that you ladies out there will read what I have written about him, get to know him and love him every single day too!

Better yet, while loving him, please spread that love every day and get more and more people around the world to get to know this amazing Korean actor that has won our hearts! A million thanks! 😘

将近五年来，我每一天都在不停地写啊，写啊，写啊。写什么？有时候自己也不晓得！

而ParkSihooSsi.com几乎每一天都有发一篇，又一篇，又一篇的文章。例外是星期日，我尽量不发任何信息。实际上，这比我创办这个网站时计划来得多了一天。我原本计划在星期六、日休息，不发贴的！

Every step of the way

Oppa, we were with you every step of the way

Yesterday, I was feeling nostalgic and started our walk down the memory lane of 2019. Memories of what started the year for Park Sihoo-ssi and for us, his fans, with his TV Chosun drama “Babel”.

This year, from “Babel”, ParkSihooSsi.com has been with you every step of the way since, Park Sihoo-ssi. Being there at the drama’s press conference, joining the “Babel” onsite tour, hosting the ParkSihooSsi.com international fans’ hospitality event for you and the cast and crew of “Babel”, watching and reviewing every single episode and more!

From start to finish of your drama “Babel”

Every step of the way also meant we were there at all of your events. We celebrated with you your 41st birthday, made our way to Myoko, Japan to join your annual Enishi event…and of course, your reward was a big, heartwarming bear hug. And recently, we flew to Jeju, lured by the opportunity to go camping and to taste barbecued beef personally grilled by our Oppa.

We followed your journey on air as you traveled from South Korea to Canada with young Bonggu to experience all that Canada had to offer. Every step offered us a glimpse of a Park Sihoo-ssi as we have never seen before! And we fell deeper in love with the man!

And we couldn’t get enough of the paraphernalia that have Park Sihoo-ssi stamped on them. From Buyeo’s chestnuts in support of you as Buyeo chestnuts’ publicity ambassador, to the Babel CD which contained your song “Cloudy Memories”, to the event and special feature DVDs and photo books and definitely your exclusive Japanese magazine “Enishi”. These are much treasured keepsakes that will refresh our memories of the good times we have had in 2019!

We also physically followed your footsteps and foodsteps to Vietnam, enjoying the places and relishing those good food recommendations you shared. A fun experience we had in the few days we could carve out in our meager vacation time. Know that almost all of our vacation time have been dedicated to you, Park Sihoo-ssi!

And even at year end, we will also be with you every step of the way. We will be making it to Ishigaki, Japan, following your footsteps and spending Christmas immersing in your presence there …in spirit! Kekeke! 😄

昨天，我有着怀念的感觉，所以开始了在2019年的回忆之旅。回忆起施厚君和我们，他的粉丝，今年是怎么过的。作为开头就是他的朝鲜电视TV Chosun 的电视剧“通天塔（哑铃）”。

Feeling nostalgic about Park Sihoo-ssi’s Babel

Another two weeks and 2019 will draw to a close. Time has certainly flew by so fast this year, I have only a vague idea of what transpired.

It seemed like we did a lot, and yet not. So feeling nostalgic and wanting to wind down for the year, I will go slow this week. No hot and heavy stuff, just meandering through some of the highs of this year and immense ourselves in that nostalgic feeling

Next week, I will take off…a year-end vacation, so no posts!

A caveat to all these…we do the nostalgic, unless our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi decides to spring his Christmas present on us suddenly. Then I will be at full charge, of course!

What’s in a hug?

Ready to hear what he has to say?

So what’s in a hug you might ask. I would say, quite a lot! So much so that the South Koreans dedicated a day every year on 14 December to celebrate as “Hug Day”!

When I think of “Hug Day”, I can’t help but savour Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi’s hug back in September 2019 in Myoko, Japan! What sweet memories of a most heartwarming moment! One that recognised that strong bond between idol and fan, and between friends.

You might have read my article on how I felt about Oppa’s hug earlier. If you haven’t please check it out.

You have heard my side of the story, so you might want to hear our Oppa’s. How did the man feel about the many hugs he gave or received during the event? In his exclusive Japanese magazine Enishi, 2019 edition Volume 4, he revealed all! Hug and tell, Oppa? Kekeke! 😂

To him, the event was fun! He had the opportunity to try all kinds of hugs with his hundreds of ladies. And I have wondered about the male fan who came for the event, what did they do? This man-to-man embrace, how did it turn out? I know both of them are real shy guys, so…hmmm…. 🤔

Our Oppa’s feedback on his ladies….

Our Oppa was most tactful. He generalised things without pointing to the specifics. He said that everyone was different, with different personalities and styles. Every type of hug that one can think of, he must have tried.

Some fans were shy and were embarrassed to hold him. But there were others who were just the opposite. They held him so tightly…and I would guess, never wanting to let go! And others? Our Oppa didn’t say, but I bet you there must have been some really bold ones who will stop at nothing! Poor Oppa, it takes all sorts to make the world, including…or maybe I should say, especially, fans! In summary, he said it was really an interesting experience for him.

So does “Hug Day” bring back those interesting moments for you, Oppa? Have a great day!

可能你会问，拥抱是怎么样一回事。我会回答，涵盖好多！如此之多的含义到韩国人每年在12月14日指定这一天为”拥抱日”！

当我想到拥抱日时，不禁想起偶吧Oppa施厚君在2019年9月在日本妙高的拥抱！这充满热情的拥抱真的给我带来美好的回忆！偶像和粉丝之间的关系，还有像朋友之间的友情。

有些粉丝害羞，尴尬地抱着他。但是有些人则相反。使劲的紧紧地抱着他…可能都希望永远也不用放开！还有一类人呢？偶吧Oppa没说，但我敢打赌，肯定有些胆大包天的粉丝！可怜的偶吧Oppa，林子大了，什么鸟都有，包括粉丝群内！总而言之，他说这次拥抱活动真的是有趣的经历。

Our Spiderman

Think he can make a Spiderman?

Close your eyes, ladies, and imagine our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi crawling up the wall like Spiderman! Think you can conjure up that image in your minds?

Yesterday, we arrived in Myoko Japan for Park Sihoo-ssi’s Enishi Lucky Seven event. As is usual for our Oppa, he takes every opportunity to fit in a photo shoot when he has his fan meetings.

For the very first time, we fans got a chance to watch Park Sihoo-ssi in action doing his Enishi photoshoot! There were many different settings but each of us could only attend one. On a first come first served basis, we had no clue what was being shot, how he would be dressed and what he would do.

Ours happened to be the first group of the three that were open to fans. We had the sporty theme and got to see our Oppa dressed in sporty gear doing rock or wall climbing and playing basketball.

I bet you those young athletic Lotte Arai staff on standby duty at this arena probably thought this Korean Oppa won’t make it up the rock climbing wall. They couldn’t be more wrong. No doubt in his forties, he climbed like Spiderman! Up the rocks so quick, even across the wall and doing his poses too! Solid as a rock, agile like a Spiderman! He made it seemed so easy!

But one thing we discovered about our Oppa. Doing the Spiderman wall scaling is a piece of cake. Give him a basketball and get him to score a goal will be most disastrous! Basketball player our Oppa is not. He can’t throw and net a basket ball for nuts! Kekeke! 😂

姐妹们，请闭上眼睛，想象我们的偶吧Oppa施厚君像蜘蛛侠一样爬上一堵墙！可否在脑海中想出那么一个形象？

昨天，我们来到了日本妙高，为了参加施厚君的缘Enishi杂志的幸运七Lucky Seven活动。就如往常，我们的偶吧Oppa在举行粉丝见面会时，经常会抓住机会去做拍摄。

这回我们有福利，第一次有机会观看施厚君为缘Enishi做拍摄！拍摄有许多不同的场景，但每个人只能参加一项。参加是先到先得的方式安排的，而且提前不会知道拍摄的是什么，他将会穿什么和会做些什么。

A formidable task to get Oppa to score a basketball goal!

碰巧的是参观的三组中，我们是第一组，是运动的主题。看到我们的偶吧Oppa穿着运动装备做攀岩和打篮球的拍摄。

相信那些年轻运动型的乐天Arai工作人员可能都认为这位韩国偶吧Oppa不会攀岩，肯定上不了墙吧！可是他们错了。四十多岁的他就像蜘蛛侠一样攀爬！爬上岩石的顶峰特快，还左右爬和摆着pose姿势呢！坚如磐石，敏捷像蜘蛛侠一样！看他攀岩还以为是特简单的一个运动呢！

但是发现了一件关于我们的偶吧Oppa的事情。像蜘蛛侠爬墙对他是轻而易举的一件小事。给他一粒篮球并让他得投入网得分是输定的！咋们的偶吧Oppa不是篮球运动选手，百分之99%球投不入网！哈哈哈！😂

Brimming in excitement

Our Oppa giving us a sneak preview of what is to come?

Like the many Japanese sisters who are in Myoko Japan for Park Sihoo-ssi’s Lucky Seven event, I am brimming with excitement!

Excitement and anticipation to meet again our Oppa. It has been quite a while since we last saw him. Six months to be exact, the last time was when we celebrated his birthday with him in April 2019.

Good morning Myoko! Good morning Park Sihoo-ssi!

During this time, our Oppa has done a lot. He has completed a reality TV show with his girls Jami and Dami and gone on a filming trip to Canada with his pup dog Bonggu from Buyeo. He has also spent time in Vietnam, Thailand and the US of A catching up with friends and also brushing up on his English.

I am brimming in excitement to finally being able to converse with our English speaking Oppa. No more chicken and duck talk I hope! Kekeke! 😂

满怀兴奋

就像许到来妙高参加施厚君的幸运七Lucky Seven活动的日本姐妹们一样，我充满了兴奋！

兴奋和期待再次见到我们的偶吧Oppa。自从上次见到他以来已经有一段时间了。确切地说是六个月，最后一次是我们在2019年4月和他一起庆祝他的生日。

We are brimming with excitement about tonight!

在此期间，我们的偶吧Oppa做了很多事情。他完成了一部真人秀节目，与他的毛孩们扎米Jami和大米Dami一起，并与扶余家的幼犬朋谷一起去了加拿大拍摄。他还去了越南，泰国和美国等国家和朋友相聚和学好他的英语。

Myoko, finally!

Our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi arrived in Myoko yesterday

Yes, we will be in Myoko Japan today, finally! To meet with our favorite Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi and celebrate his exclusive Japanese Enishi magazine’s seventh year of publication. Lucky seven! And lucky us, we will get to not only meet Oppa again but also get hugs from him too!

Since Sunday 1 September 2019, Liliane and I, we have been on the road.

We made a safe exit from the super turbulent and violence-filled city of Hong Kong. But we had to be extra vigilant and go through inconvenience to get out. We had to get ourselves to the airport extra early, me by more than half a day, Liliane less. This was so that we can be assured we can safely get to the airport and take off on our scheduled flight. Over twelve hours shuffling my feet, time wasted that could have been put to good use! The key is, Liliane and I, we were lucky we managed to leave!

Once out, we were able to go according to our plan and made some tourist stops before finally arriving in Myoko. Some places we followed Oppa’s footsteps, to Atami and Hakone, and other times, at our leisure and pleasure.

Finally, today, we will arrive in Myoko, ready to meet our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi soon! Looking forward!

终于到达日本妙高！

是的，我们终于即将到达日本妙高！会与我们最喜欢的偶吧Oppa施厚君见面并和他一起庆祝他的独家日本缘Enishi杂志的第七年出版。幸运七！幸运的是，我们也会得到偶吧的拥抱！

自2019年9月1日星期日，莉莉安和我，我们一直在路途中。

我们安全地离开了超级动荡和充满暴力的香港。为了能够安然无事的搭乘航班，我们得格外警惕并经过一些不方便之处。我们得提早到达机场，我提早了超过半天，莉莉安不需要那么早。这样我们才可以放心，可以安全地到达机场并搭乘预定航班起飞。超过12个小时的等待，本来是可以充分利用的宝贵时间给浪费掉了！关键是，莉莉安和我非常幸运的可以安然出发！

出境后，我们按照计划，在去妙高的路上，安排了停留的旅游站。一些地方跟随偶吧Oppa的脚步，到热海和箱根。其他时间是我们休闲游玩，吃喝玩乐的时间。

今天，我们终于要抵达妙高了，准备再见我们的偶吧Oppa施厚君！期待！
