It has been Yoyo-ing on HBO Max

I believe top-most in the mind of every Park Sihoo-ssi fan is that burning question.

“When will we get to watch Park Sihoo-ssi’s next drama?”

In fact, recently I got asked this question in various forms even more frequently, after attending Park Sihoo-ssi’s birthday celebration in his hometown Buyeo.

The short answer is “I don’t know”. Our Oppa is so tight lipped, he won’t reveal a thing until he is ready. As he has always said in the past, he is thankful to his fans for their support and will repay them with good works. Please be patient.

So patient we will be to watch our Oppa’s next transformation.

The early days of “The Mentalist” filming

But, what about the already filmed and completed Korean remake of “The Mentalist”. The drama that has been earmarked to air on HBO Max? It has been yoyo-ing Max. Different information and news at different times. Yes, go. No go. Not yet. Maybe a tie with Korean Wavve? Maybe not.  So till now, we have not seen the light of its day.

What is the latest?  Well, we know of the merger of Warner Bros.  Discovery with HBO they are planning to launch a new streaming platform.  Just days ago, they announced that it will be rolled out under the name “Max”.  Max will be launched on 23 May 2023 in the U.S. and then in Latin America later in the year. The rest of the world will see this new platform in 2024. 

Our Mentalist beckons us to visit his office! When?

The rumour mill says that Max will be launched in the Asia-Pacific region around mid-2024, and taking into consideration localization time, it is highly likely that the launch will not take place until the end of 2024. 

However, as the Korean remake of “The Mentalist” is ready for release and other original works with Korean content or subjects anticipated in early 2024, there could be a possibility that Max roll out in Korea might be pushed forward.

Well that is the news as of now.  But it has been yoyo-ing Max, so anything can change.  We will believe when we see it!

Hopefully, before that, we will hear good news of our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi making an announcement of a new project and the start of filming.  We hope!

“我们什么时候才能观看施厚君的下一部电视剧呢？”

事实上，最近参加了在施厚君在他的家乡扶余举办的生日庆典后，收到了更多同一类的问题。

简短的回答是“我不知道”。 偶吧 Oppa 守口如瓶，没有准备好之前他是不会透露任何消息的。 正如他过去常说的，感谢粉丝们的支持，他会以好的作品回报大家。 请大家耐心的等待。

The first look of the Korean Mentalist

那么已经拍摄和制作完的韩国翻拍版的“超感神探”（“超感警探”），指定在 HBO Max 播出的电视剧，又是如何呢？  一直如溜溜球的Max。 在不同的时间，有着不同的信息和新闻。 就快了。 还没有。 延迟了。也许与韩国的 Wavve 合作在他们的平台播出？ 也许不？ 所以直到现在，还没有看到这部剧播出的曙光。

最新的消息是什么？ 我们知道华纳兄弟的Discovery和 HBO 合并了，他们计划推出一个新的流媒体平台。 就在几天前，他们宣布以“Max”的名义推出。 Max 将于 2023 年 5 月 23 日在美国推出，然后在今年晚些时候在拉丁美洲推出。 世界其他地区将在 2024 年可以观看这个新平台。
