Our Oppa will be in a historical drama soon!
A few Korean news reported this morning that Park Sihoo has been confirmed as the main character of TV Chosun’s new historical drama “Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비”. This is subject to final confirmation.
Park Sihoo-ssi will play the character Choe Cheonjung 최천중, a good fortune teller and business man during the Joseon era. He is a hero during these turbulent times and king of the people of Joseon. He is also a man with the ambition of building a new state by overthrowing the ruling power who have brought ruin to the Joseon Dynasty. A handsome man, he is skilled in martial arts, gambling and dancing. He is a romantic who will give up everything for a woman he loves.
Is TV Chosun’s Wind, Cloud and Rain Park Sihoo-ssi’s new historical epic?
Leveraging his outstanding speech and genius in politics, he achieved the miracle of fulfilling the ambition of Lee Haeeung 이하응, the most powerful man in Korea, by making his son Lee Jaehwang 이재황, king, and the girl on the street, Min Jayoung 민자영 the national mother of Joseon.
“Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비” is about great history and beautiful challenges of love, hardship, and hope of a man with outstanding talents. Psychometric that boggles us even to this day, through the heroine’s mysterious psychic ability, will expand the story with new and unusual materials.
“Wind, Cloud and Rain” will be directed by Yoon Sangho 윤상호, who also directed “Saimdang, Memoir of Colors 사임당 빛의 일기” and the script will be written by writer Jeung Jiyoung 방지영. This TV Chosun production is expected to be aired this spring.

利用卓越的口才和天才的政治感觉, 实现了朝鲜最高权力者李夏应（音）이하응的愿望, 以他的儿子李在晃（音）이재황为王, 街头少女闵紫英 (音）민자영 成为朝鲜的国母的奇迹。
“风，云，雨”讲述的是一个才华出众的男人通过伟大而美丽的挑战、爱情、苦难和希望回顾今天的现实，是在21世纪科学文明时代仍是神秘领域的名利学。女主人公神秘的心灵能力——是用新颖而又异想天开的素材扩张故事领域。
“风，云，雨”由“师任堂光的日记”的尹尚浩(音)윤상호导演执导，郑智永（音）방지영 作家执笔剧本。这部朝鲜电视台TV Chosun的电视剧将于今年春季播出。

@parksihooloversturkey Most important is that Park Sihoo-ssi has a great piece of work he will enjoy doing. He chose who he wants to work with so being fans, we should stand firmly behind him and his choice of partner. The awards by TV stations are not as prestigious as they used to be, or those that are across channel. Going by last year, the TV stations basically gave awards to everyone and so there was no pride in getting an award anyway.

Yes, is on that list of projects for 2020: Wind, Clouds, and Rain 바람과 구름과 비, but at JTBC. Joseon (조선), meaning Chosun, so it may be a confusion between Chosun tv and Joseon era. Probably is at tv Chosun, but I think in the list is correct: JTBC (many of dramas from JTBC are now on Netflix).
That Joseon period drama could be at the end of the 19th century, which would explain why PSH’s hair is still short😄
It will be the 1850s era, Cheoljong period, so Western style already set in and why his hair will be short.
In Saimdang memoirs of colors is about time travel. Will PSH be a time traveler too?🤔

With the news appeared in the K. press about Park Shihoo-ssi ‘s new drama, this being a historical one, this has made me very happy. I’ve wanted for a long time to watch him in a new historical drama. as he is gorgeous in a role from K. history, and this role seems to be that of a hero and king of Joseon period .I don’t think someone else playing this role better than him, due to his talent and his deep love for the history of his country.From me he will have the big support and appreciation for his interpratation. Daniela Maria Miricescu You’ve got a point there… since believe he did not specify its a historical Joseon period drama. Who knows it may turn up to be a drama in the interbellum generation instead? I do recall his recent hairstyle when he was in the States. So like that of the style sported by my late father in his handsome youthful age in the earlier decades of the 20th century.
Dorothy Ooi Daniela Maria Miricescu That thought also did cross my mind that it doesn’t have to be Joseon. He only said period drama…what period? We don’t know. And we also don’t know which channel…or if it were a Korean channel at all? A lot of question marks that we are all curious about and dying to know. But our Oppa is keeping mum until the official announcement. He has divulged quite a bit already which he won’t in the past. And by the way, the agreement was only signed like 5 days (business days maybe) before the event!
Aren’t we all dying to know! We didn’t probe as news should follow soon as the drama starts filming in mid January…no mention of solid Hollywood, but some hints with questions on the role he would like and who he would like to work with…so there is hope! 😄😘🌹
