Umbrella needed!

Weather rules! Can’t argue with nature! We spent eight days in Japan, intending to explore among others, many places Park Sihoo-ssi had been to before. Our journey was very much ruled by the weather!

We arrived in good time in Japan for Park Sihoo-ssi’s Lake Biwa “Hug Event”. After landing in Osaka, we went through Kyoto to Lake Biwa for his event and afterwards, to Kanazawa, to Shirakawa-go, back to Kanazawa and then to Osaka.

The weather saw drastic swings in this time. From really scorching hot when even 5 minutes out in the sun will have you perspiring wet like you have just got out of a shower, to typhoon bringing heavy thunderstorms and all day rain that  you are soaking wet due to another extreme!

We had glorious, sunny days mainly in Lake Biwa and the first part of Kanazawa. So hot and sunny, that when I looked myself in the mirror, I was rather taken aback! Horrors! 😱My face has become more tanned and freckles have bloomed! The after effect of the sunny weather!

Then the weather took a turn, our journey from Kanazawa to Osaka which should only take around two and a half hours via JR train ended being an arduous, long journey due to JR cancellation and traffic disruptions from the onslaught of typhoon in its wake, heavy rain and strong wind.  We ended up making a big loop from Kanazawa to Tokyo, then down to Osaka via Shin-Yokohama, Shin-Nagoya, Shin Kyoto before arriving in Shin-Osaka after around six hours of train journey!

But we made it in the good company of Park Sihoo-ssi sisters and indulging in food and places where Park Sihoo-ssi has been through!

Today, we make our way home. Again, bad weather herald yet another typhoon on its way! Typhoon Maria is making its presence felt! Our flight today has been cancelled and we have to be put onto a later flight! Hopefully the weather permitting, it would be a smooth flight home this evening!

被天气摆布

被天气摆布！不能与大自然争论，尤其是天气！我们在日本呆了八天，打算探索施厚君以前去过的几个地方。 我们的旅程受到了天气的影响！

来到日本参加施厚君的琵琶湖“拥抱”活动，度过了愉快的时光。在大阪降落后，我们经过京都到琵琶湖参加他的活动，之后到了金泽，百川乡，再回到金泽，然后到大阪。

在这段时间里，天气急剧波动。从特别炎热的阳光，5分钟在外就会冒汗，湿得就像刚淋浴一样，到台风带来强雷暴和整天下雨，又会因为另一种天气现象被湿透！

我们在琵琶湖和金泽的前几天有着灿烂的阳光。 如此炎热的阳光，当我照镜子时看着自己，吃了一惊！恐怖！我的脸被晒黑，雀斑就如盛开的花朵，大爆！😱天气的后效！

然后天气有了转变，我们从金泽到大阪的旅程，由于台风的大雨和强风的影响，造成交通的不便。本来坐JR火车只需要大约两个半小时的旅程，结果变成了艰难而漫长的旅途。我们绕了一大圈从金泽到东京，经过新横滨，新名古屋，新京都，终于在大约六个小时的车程后，到达了新大阪！

幸好，在厚粉姐妹们的伴侣下，这几天，享受了好多施厚君享受过的吃喝玩乐的地方！

今天，我们即将回家。 但，因为另外一个台风正往日本打过来，再次，给恶劣的天气摆布了！我们今天的航班被取消，必须乘坐晚一班航班！ 希望天气会有所改善，今晚饶了我们，让我们顺利的回家！
