Sleep! Or the lack of it!
The weekend nights watching Park Sihoo-ssi’s TV Chosun drama “Babel 바벨” were such joy and which I looked forward to with great anticipation every single episode.
But age is catching up on me! I need my sleep!
The late weekend nights watching the “live” broadcast were fine. It was following the story line in Korean, which I don’t understand, and trying to make sense of the going-ons, especially the subtleties of conversations which were critical to the development, that were hard. And then putting my thoughts into an article …or more with episode ratings and previews. Then finding the the right photos and linking the official video clips from TV Chosun to complement the articles and where needed, do the translation and produce the English and Chinese subtitled previews.
So while most people were in deep sleep, I was still up in the wee hours of the morning, past 3 am mostly, working to get articles ready for posting from around six the next morning!
Now the drama is off air and Park Sihoo-ssi is taking his much needed rest, I will be catching up on my sleep. Because I know not too long down the road, he will have good news that will get us all into a frenzy again!
Good night! Don’t catch me past midnight!
Credits – Many thanks! TV Chosun

Poor you! Sleep deprivation made worse by the lack of subtitles at first broadcast. How wonderful if subtitles are included in the first instance for enhanced enjoyment of international viewers. Up till now it’s still guess work for me on the subtleties of dialogues in the final episodes of Babel
Nance, thanks for your effort, sleepless nights to write your articles, and share what was going on in each episode, we couldn’t understand in Korean. Now it’s time for you to take a full rest, to sleep well, to recharge your batteries for next week, when you’ll attend Park SI Hoo’s birthday party. And we are waiting with eagerness , as usual, your thorough report about this great event in Park SI Hoo’s life.😴😴😴
Have the most restful and peaceful sleep Nance, before the birthday rainbow party themed. Wishing our actor also having his best rest to rejuvenate. Contrary to all your hard works during Babel, I had my best time : ditched Monday job, slept solid 8 hours every weekend nights while Babel was live on air in the wee hours of my part of the world (made it easy for me to decide staying up or not staying up when it is 1 am in the morning, of course I wouldn’t stay up consistent to my motto of 人不為己 天誅地滅!). Wake up fresh the next morning and subtitles already available. That explains how I could sniff so hard and barked so loud. I am very glad PSH chose “murder mystery” as one of the project he liked to make, and that its timing works for my enjoyment, unlike Lovely Horribly, which I missed out completely. So this time I gave it my double dosage of sniffing. 😝
Good rest 🙂
Idol..
Youre a handsome..
