The poignant swordsman with his beautiful performance
When I was searching for appropriate photos to support yesterday’s article “In tribute of a great novelist” I came across some beautiful photos. These were of Iljimae’s poignant swordsman, Park Sihoo-ssi’s Cha-dol or Byeon Sihoo.
He was then second male lead in SBS drama “Iljimae” but his outstanding performance pulled at the heartstrings of many viewers, winning their hearts! So poignant his life, growing up from the poor, illegitimate little boy into a lonely, loveless man, shunned by his natural father and his family. And the woman he loved, loving another man!

It has been a while since I watched Iljimae and those photos I saw again yesterday brought back beautiful but poignant memories! And they reminded me why after this drama, Park Sihoo-ssi went on to become the male lead in the evergreen family classic “Family Honor”, where his Lee Kangsuk is firmly etched in the hearts of many of his fans!

当我在搜索合适的照片去支持昨天的文章“致敬: 伟大的小说家”时，偶然发现了一些精美的照片。这些都是施厚君在一枝梅里饰演凄美的剑士卞施或小石头的照片。

他当时是SBS电视剧“一枝梅”里的男二，但他的出色表现拉开了许多观众的心弦，赢得了她们的欢心！他的生活如此凄美，从贫穷，私生子成长为一个孤独无爱的男人，被他的亲父亲和家人舍去。他爱的女人，爱着另一个男人！
好久没有观看“一枝梅”了，所以昨天找到那些照片时，再次带回了美丽而凄美的回忆！还记得在这部剧之后，施厚君成为了常青家庭经典电视剧“家门的荣光”中的男主角，他的李江石牢牢铭刻在许多粉丝的心中！

I have watched on u tube that most enchanting and beautiful scene where with single arrow shot PSH’s character Byeon Sihoo lit up all lanterns to lavishly brighten the darkened snowy path for his beloved’s safe journey. One of the most astounding memorable scenes in K dramas that I have come across. Wish I can lay my hands on an Ilijimae DVD – I want it solely because of our Sihoo’s Sihoo, in a 2nd male lead role, but definitely shining bright!
What beautiful images of Sihoo’s Byeon Sihoo you have managed to uncover. My indisputable favourite scene in Iljimae is that of him with one arrow lit up all lanterns to brighten the darkened snowy path for his beloved …😍
