I think everyone here will agree that Park Sihoo-ssi is a photographer’s dream. He is such a wonderful subject to put down on film, any angle you shoot! You can get some really gorgeous hot shots of our favorite man! And we have seen millions of these on still photography and in motion films.
Other than being a great model in the front of the camera, Park Sihoo also has a creative flair when he is behind the camera. I have never seen any work of his behind a professional video camera to date, though I have seen photos of him looking from behind the lens.
We have seen still photos that he shared on the social media, mainly his Instagram and his Weibo. Many of those are hot shots either taken by himself or what he chose to share! They showed off his skills, creativity and his cameraman prowess or his knack to choose beautiful photos! He does have a good eye in framing his shots and capturing the mood of the moment!
So which of his hot shots do you like? These happen to be my favorite!

My favorite is the one he used his car rear mirror to capture fabulous sunset in Seoul ie same as the bursting sun beam shot you featured in this article but the shot where the sunbeams are golden glow. I tried selfie of such sunset beams against my face geezuz it was ugly photo i must say. Selfie often distort our face and to catch all that bursting beams against your face is double whammy difficult to get great results. Or by the time you master the angle and position sunbeams disappeared. Yet our Sihoossi executed that shot in perfect proportion and effect.
I remembered his two famous sunbeams pics!! I recalled it was in May 2016 just after his Tokyo concert and we kept raving about his photography skills which he used to his best advantage in capturing the 2 pics so excellently. How time flies and it’s going to be May soon. This past 11 months since then he has continued to delight us by releasing interesting pics/videos by him or about him. It’s so PSH that each and every of them is beautifully and thoughtfully taken, uniquely interesting in theme and at times some of them even embed a clue, a hint, give a story. Very proud of this charmer, who proves time and again, his skill sets extend far beyond just acting brilliance! And yes, I recalled the one instance when I was asked which was my favourite pic of him amongst the whole lot in Nance’s wallpaper. My choice was the very same sunbeam pic which Nance featured in her Hot Shots article. It still remains a favourite because it’s really a shot hard to achieve! But I must admit I also love to bits that black and white selfie PSH took just after his Tokyo stage performance on 7 May 2016. The pic just breathed of triumph and vibrance and sheer happiness. A very very significant selfie indeed.
PSH is not only a photographer’s dream, but he him himself is a good photographer. And we enjoy many of his photos or shots , because when a moment , in front of him, appears to be particularly special, he captures it and shares it. He always finds the reason to justify taking that photo, symmetry, color, contrast , because he hopes his photo sheds lights on what he sees.. Most important is that he knows that each shot is catching a moment , which is passing and which deserves to be remembered. For him photography is an art of observation, and his photos, shots have a lot to do with the way he sees something interesting, beeing also a way of feeling, of loving, as his shots, photos are captured for ever. I’m not skilled in taking shots or photos, and all of PSH’s shots are enchanting me, as they represent his intuitive observation of the surrounding world, and have a special meaning for all of us. For PSH, photography is a creative art of a creative talented artist.
Oh Stefania, how well you have put your thoughts on PSH and his photography skills and the purposes behind the sending of his pics and videos into beautiful words. You are brilliant in your perception that photography to PSH is an art of observation and the capturing forever of a magical moment. All these besides him being a photographer’s dream. I totally agree as so often observed, he is so at ease in front of the cameras – he just effortlessly slips into any mood/ sentiment the photographer wants him to. Just like when he immerses deep into every character he portrays in his dramas. That’s the reason we never tire from watching him act. He is supremely a great artist!
Stefania’s words of PSH’s photos simply expressed to the fullest those things a person cannot read of see beyond his photos. I love how Stefania has written and may I ask for permission to use some of your expressions the next time people lamenting why Chai Hua’s non stop taking photographs, is it all because of facebook/instagram. Up til this point, my answer to them was my photography taking goes back a long way before internet was discovered, how has it got anything to do with facebook or instagram. As an example I had 44 rolls of films in my suitcase in one month Europe trip in the early 90s. So now I can express with more finesse by borrowing Stefania’s words 🙂
Dear Chai Hua and Dorothy, you two are good in taking photos and if I were you, I’d do this whenever I come across something I like to be photographed.Chai Hua , I like very much your albums reflecting different periods in your life, and yours , Dorothy, with your friend too.. They remain over years. As i don’t know the technique of taking photos, I always ask my son and daughter -in-law to take photos with my grand-daughter, and then I complete photo albums with her for each year. This my father liked to do , when my brother and me were children, and now I look at them with deep nostalgia. Yes, I like to admire PSH’s “ENISHI” editions , with his photos taken by professionals, but also his photos taken by himself, because as you say Dorothy “He is supremely a great artist.”
Thank you for your kind words Stefania Lupu. Photos give me a lot of pleasure. In equal ranking as how much my husband likes his wines.
