Congratulations, Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi and Oppa Choi Dokyung! Their KBS drama “My Golden Life” has been glittering gold since it first went on air in South Korea! 

Two years ago today on 2 September 2017, we caught the first glimpse of Oppa Choi Dokyung, who won the hearts of many an audience. He was man born with a silver spoon and schooled from young to take over the reins of his maternal grandfather’s vast Chaebol empire.

Surrounded by his rich peers and people from within the same circle, he took for granted their lifestyle and behaviors. His eyes only opened to the plights of the less fortunate when he lock horns and later fell in love with a woman who has to live from hand-to-mouth.

So disillusioned he was that he forsook his wealthy family and instead opted to strike out on his own, with hardly a won in  his pocket. All in the name of love! So from glittering gold to next to nothing!

Learning the hard way, but never giving up, he finally made headway on his own, doing the things that he likes, the way he wanted.  No doubt not the immense glittering hard gold he was used to, but finally discover true glittering gold – the meaning of life.

恭喜，偶吧Oppa施厚君和偶吧Oppa崔道京！自从KBS电视剧“我黄金光辉的人生”首次在韩国播出以来，一直在闪闪发光！

两年前的今天，2017年9月2日，第一次见到帅气的偶吧Oppa崔道京。他的演技赢得了许多观众的芳心。他是银勺子出生，长大时就已被培养接班，管理他外祖父庞大的财阀帝国。

Discovering the true meaning of life

被富裕的同龄和同一圈内的人所包围，所以他认为他们的生活方式和行为是理所当然的。当他抖角，然后爱上了贫困生活中的女孩时，他才终于看到那些不幸的人的困境。

幻想被破灭的他，离弃了富裕的家庭，口袋里几乎没有多少钱，但选择自己谋生。一切都以爱的名义！所以从闪闪发光的黄金到几乎没有！

学习的过程非常艰难，但他从不放弃，终于自己取得了进展，做了自己选择并喜欢的事情。虽然不是他往常闪闪发光的硬金，但他终于发现了真正闪闪发光的黄金 – 有了生命的意义。
