If it were not for fans…
In a recently published extract of an interview that Park Sihoo-ssi did for Japan’s Ginga Channel, he reiterated the importance he places on his fans.
He was quoted as saying “If it were not for fans, I would not be here.”
Park Sihoo-ssi has often declared that his fans are his No. 1 Treasure. And this is not just lip service. He has shown over and over again in his actions how much he values them.
If at any time this thought ever diminished, he would just have to recollect his tumultuous time when his loyal fans stood steadfastly by him. They had to fight tooth and nail for him, never once erring from their love and support, despite being ridiculed and called all sorts of names by nasty and malicious netizens.
Park Sihoo-ssi puts his heart to making his events enjoyable
Yes, if it were not for them…and Park Sihoo-ssi well recognizes this.
He shared during the Ginga interview that when he planned his Dramatic Thanksgiving Festival in June 2017, upper most in his mind was his fans. He actively involved himself in planning and executing the series of events for their enjoyment. And had put in a lot of creative thoughts in developing the program, going all out to practise his moves. But alas, due to a mishap with a brolly, his intention to impress his fans with his prowess with the sword resulted in fifteen stitches on his right palm! But no worries, Park Sihoo-ssi, we know what’s in your heart and we love you for it!
Park Sihoo enjoys his interactions during his fan meetings
Just as fans always look forward to meeting him in person, he also enjoys meeting them during his fan meetings. With his programs for his fan meetings prepared with them in mind, I am sure he always look forward to watching their reactions! On many occasions, as he performed, and especially during the interactive sessions, I have caught glimpses of mischievousness on his face as if he were secretively delighting and reveling in their reactions!
Park Sihoo-ssi and his fans, they have a unique and closely knitted relationship. More family than just idol and fans. And I hope that this would continue infinitely!

在最近日本Ginga频道发布的施厚君的采访中，他再次重申了他对粉丝的重视。
报道提到他说“如果不是粉丝，我不会有现在”。
施厚君一直把他的粉丝称为他的第一宝物。这不仅仅是口头上客气的称呼。他经常以实际行动表达他对粉丝的重视程度。

如果在任何时候这重视减弱了，他只要回忆起在他动荡的时期，忠实的粉丝们坚定不移地站在他身边，不屈不挠的爱护和支持着他，尽管被恶心意的网民嘲笑和臭骂。
是的，如果不是粉丝…施厚君也非常了解这一点。
他在Ginga频道采访时分享，计划2017年6月的戏剧化感恩节活动时，他的脑海里最注重的是他的粉丝，怎么样才能更好的让她们享受活动的乐趣。他积极参与规划这一系列的活动，投入了大量创意，也努力的排练。但是，由于一个事故，不幸和雨伞有纠纷，原本打算练好剑术，给粉丝们耍耍功力，但谁知，反而要去医院缝上15针，所计划的都泡了汤！施厚君，不用担心，我们都知道你的心意，还会非常的爱你的!😄
Putting his best into his performance
正如粉丝一直期待与他亲自相见，他也喜欢在他的粉丝见面会与粉丝见面。他的节目是以粉丝为中心去计划，活动时，相信他总是期待看粉丝们的反应！参加了好几个活动，在表演的时候，特别是互动交流的时候，经常看到他脸上露出一丝的调皮，好像对大家的反应暗暗的兴奋！
施厚君和他的粉丝有着独特而紧密的关系。不仅是偶像和粉丝的关系，而更像家人般的关系。希望这将永远的持续！

He himself is a man who does not need to be an actor. Although we all know continuing to be an actor is his life long ambition. What I am saying is that he doesn’t really need to go through such difficult times in his stride to come back to an industry that has been so unfair to him. However he chose to make it back against all odds. Just this fact alone says how much he treasures his fans.
To trust one another is to surrender one heart! Others may feel unimaginable and can not even realize the depth! The feelings of Shi Houjun and fans are that they shouldn’t live in someone else’s mouth! To be yourself is more important than anything. Adhere to good principles, after all, worthy of admiration! To please the wrong person and forget how to smile is not worth the state! Respect for the pursuit, is the most lovely picture! Intellectual love, but also a kind of self-restraint!
“My fans are so funny, they make me laugh so much. I’ve got some really, really, funy, clever fans.”[E. Goulding] What can PSH say about his fans?”My fans are so devoted and supportive for my performances and my career. My fans are really,really strong people who lift me up. My fans are always figthing to defend me. With all my fans I got another family”. That’s why PSH is so indebted to his fans and says:”If it were not for fans, I would not be here.” But thinking the other way round, PSH is the actor who rules the hearts and minds of his fans and there is a huge emotional connect. As hid fans lead an active life through their favourite actor, PSH. For them , 3 hours spent inside a theatre or watching his dramas is the best possible time they can ever have. PSH helps them to forget their personal problems. So, his main concern is to attract his audience’s attention towards his acting. And attention is the key to fame. Fame is the key to fanbase. And due to his fame , PSH has a great fanbase, whom he honors with his acting, his love, his respect, his gratitude, Yes, “With all his fans, PSH has got another family”. One thing is in common for PSH and his fans; they has fallen in love with him as he dedicated his whole life to one cause. To become an excellent actor. GO! GO! Park Si Hoo!
It’s always delightful and heartwarming to read of his comments in interviews. He is fabulous as a story teller, especially when baring his soul, because he speaks the truth, with sincerity. So it’s very touching to read this interview featured in Nance’s article today. Because he has said so, so there’s no doubt that he does regard us his fans as his most important assets; and so it’s also without a doubt that our love and support for him should be one which is unwavering , unstoppable , will continue through the years ahead – beyond MGL, and beyond what he has indicated he hopes to do for his fans – a new movie, another historical costume drama …..And speaking of MGL didn’t he say he decided to take it on because he thinks his fans will like to see him in this role. Our Psh forever placing his fans’ interest first!
He said he wants to give that kind of romantic male lead a good go while his age and image still holds, while he still have those assets in him so to speak. And yes, how can he not know his fans like to see him in that kind of role. He. Sure. Knows. Me this loud noise making fan asking for romantic comedy is one of those fans. Everyone talks about their favourite scene in Local Hero, my personal choice is the one he pretends to be hotel staff went up room to rescue the woman, his straight face comedian dumb waiter acts but swift actions of fight, and while fighting still hold that unknowingly face and gestures, that’s my top favourite, because is comedy plus action. And I really like the way he spoke Mandarin in that scene, because those words too were really funny. Brilliant. Bravo Bravo Bravo
The bond between PSH and his fans is a special one. Last few years strengthened this bond enormously. I didn’t have had the opportunity to attend one of his events yet, but only from the stories from fans like Nance I know it’s something I should experience at least once. In The Netherlands we have one comedien, André van Duin, who makes you laugh in front of TV screen, but when you attend his show in theater he makes you laugh even louder and it is so special like a warm bath. I had another experience with attending an operetta show “Der Tsarewitz”. So I know how it can feel and I want to experience it once with PSH and other sisters! Without PSH I would not have discovered many new things in life!
Dear Wilma van Zwietering, I think it is a very inspirational goal of life that when you are a PSH’s fan, you aim to experience attending his event once a lifetime. That’s the best treat you could reward yourself. I have done that, like Claudie said if she lives in Asia, she would go again and again. Same with me if I live in Asia, I would definitely attend frequently.
I too remember my experience of watching the Malaysian comedian Harith Iskander live on a Hong Kong stage for all the Malaysians living in HK, by then we were a bit remote from Malaysia’s daily life. Harith brought back all the memories and that night I laughed until my jaw hurt, seriously hurt.
Nance, this morning I reread your article and wanted to say how much I like these words of yours. On many occasions, as he performed, and especially during the interactive sessions, I have caught glimpses of mischievousness on his face as if he were secretively delighting and reveling in their reactions!”” Especially your catching glimpses of his mischievousness on his face having his thoughts of secretive delightful moments or enjoying the results of his actions onto his fans. 2016 his Buyeo birthday, when we saw their idea of a PSH in figurine, we knew straight away he is having lots of laugh inside that figurine and applaud that brilliant idea. Because no fan can be sure if it is really him inside that figurine. And for the 1st time he can actually see his fans’ totally without the impact of his presence influencing the behaviour of these fans. For that, we all know this playful kid in PSH was having a swell time hiding inside that figurine. Same thing when it comes to his Instagram, he releases a message with a photo, then he tests the fans’ reaction. Want A Doll? to be released 1st, later only he revealed his video of how he acquired those dolls.And later as we all learnt, those dolls were for his Dramatic Thanksgiving event and the deserving fan Knapavalley got the precious one (sorry I didn’t pay attention to the name of that doll, as dolls are not my cup of tea). Every action he indulge his fans, all done with lots of thoughts, some carry a sequel of meaning. He is the best marketing man himself, he does the marketing job very well, why? because he does them with a genuine love for his fans.
