This article reflects a dilemma I face everyday since starting ParkSihoossi.com. It is not meant to criticize anyone and certainly not those out there who genuinely love Park Sihoo-ssi and have his interest in their hearts. It is simply a sharing of the issues I face.
This dilemma of mine grows each and every day as I continue to write and post articles to build community and support for our favorite man. Yes, I am talking about all those beautiful photos and videos I use to substantiate my articles. Almost all do not belong to me, exception being those I take myself. They are the properties of others, subject to copyrights.
A website, an article or a post can be well maintained and written (not saying mine is) but in order for it to communicate well its essence, it has to be supported by appropriate visual elements such as photos or videos. Ideally of course, all photos being used should belong to those who post them. However, in the world of Park Sihoo-ssi, alas, this just cannot happen. We don’t get to see him often nor will we have the opportunity or reason to photograph him to suit our purpose.
Under the circumstance, the most convenient is to to rely on photos, videos, dramas and movies found on the social media – whatever are available. BUT, using anything that does not belong to oneself makes one vulnerable, open to actions including legal actions, that might have huge repercussions. Whether it is a photo or even a short, few seconds clipping of a drama or movie makes no difference. The property owners did not give anyone the right to use their materials or to put their names on them. What is open for public viewing does not mean anyone is given the right to share these materials, especially when there are explicit copyright notifications upfront.
Worse, each time anyone strips anything that Park Sihoo-ssi appears in, it is an abuse of his copyright!
It is a fine balance to toe the line and not to abuse the intellectual properties of others. It is something I grapple with and ask myself every day. Am I crossing the line? Am I infringing on the rights of others? Am I giving credit where credit is due? Am I taking photos or videos when I am not allowed to do so? Am I abusing Park Sihoo-ssi’s intellectual property when I do this?
I have no answer to this dilemma. But, hand-on-my-heart, I have thought through and put in measures that I absolutely adhere to, to minimise the abuse. Of course, the extreme is to shut down totally this site! And this is not something I want to do at all! Nor will it be in the best interest of Park Sihoo-ssi!
No easy solution to this dilemma, if any can be found. Just got to do what I think is decent and proper under the circumstance! I hope it is the same with you too.

Today’s topic is really contradictory state, not easy to coordinate! Like, love high heels on pride, a sense of security is also dependent on the flats! High heels to pride, flat shoes can not give! Safety shoes to the high-heeled shoes can not give! Daily life, always believe that: love, give you warmth and courage, so that you learn to adhere to and self-discipline, but also to teach their tolerance and respect, let us continue to self reflection and growth! No one, for no reason in life! The article, illustrated, is vivid! The moment of pursuit is the process of trust. Frankly, it will increase the well-being of each other!
Dear Nance, what a heavy burden on your shoulder to run this blog for the sake of us PSH’s fans. It is a big dilemma indeed. How to carefully not to cross the line is absolutely not easy. On the one hand the need to feed the ever thirsty fans like ourselves who always enjoy as well as eagerly looking out to any opportunity to viewing any photos and videos of PSH, on the other hand, consciously aware that every visual material is deemed intellectual property in today’s rigid boundary. I too have no answer on this dilemma. Only thing I hope is that in the eyes of PSH, he could come to appreciate what you are doing on this blog is one that has taken the most care of not crossing the line.
