Wind, Cloud and Rain coming soon on TV Chosun on 9 May 2020

Since January 2020, our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi has disclosed his choice of new drama in “Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비”. It has been nine years since he has acted in a historical drama, his award winning “The Princess Man”.

As we wait for the drama to go on air, there has been quite a lot of information circulating and lots of beautiful artwork created by our sisters on the web. So much in fact because it is a long wait from January to May 2020 before the premiere.

We are now around a month from the tentative scheduled release on TV Chosun. To get us ready for “Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비” as the momentum builds up, I have put together a summary of what we know so far. 

Hopefully, this will get us all on the same page and ready to help build awareness and excitement for its premiere and the full series!  Ready, ladies?

Storyline

“Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비” is an adaptation of a Korean novel by the same name, written by Lee Byungju 이병주. It was serialised and published as a daily column in the Chosun Ilbo newspaper from 2 February 1977 to 31  December 1980. 

“Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비” is a drama set in the Joseon Cheoljong period in the 1850s. It is about the use of fortune telling in the struggle for power among Kingmakers. In the age of scientific civilization in the 21st century, the drama will focus on fortune telling and physiognomy that still remain mysteries to this day.
