I cracked my head over what to call this “Making 12” video of TV Chosun’s “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비”. Unfortunately I just could not see much of a theme to it. Nothing to how it was clipped together or to the key highlights of Episodes 18-19.
The only thing I could see was an assortment of clips, with no consideration of what were the attractions or to consolidate the same scenes together. It was probably put together at the prerogative of the person who made this video and has to deliver it on schedule.
A bit of an anticlimax after such spectacular episodes last weekend. I would have thought that all of these making videos should have been well thought out from the beginning to bring out the best of the drama and drive more audience to watch the coming episodes. But looks like they ran out of steam, or more appropriately, passion lost.
A shame actually when this should have been the very best “Making” video to drive the drama’s momentum to a dramatic and highest ever audience rating. And when “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비” is already out-performing many much anticipated dramas, marketing efforts should be doubled to hit a good home run! *Sigh*
Regardless, watch this “Making 12: Assorted” video of “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비” for what it is worth!
Only 2 more episodes before the end of the run. Let us give our Oppa Park Sihoo-ssi and his Choi Cheonjung the utmost spectacular support, okay ladies? Please remember to catch it this Saturday and Sunday on TV Chosun at 2250h, Korean time!

Agree with Nance’s comment about the making 12. We love Parksihoossi and support the drama definitely. It’s a good drama deserve s more active propaganda. We would like to see more information about our favorite actor and the drama.
While we would love to see more of Park Sihoo-ssi’s, which I think does make logical sense being fans, but more importantly, he is the lead actor and the drama revolves around him.
I also understand that a drama is team work and we do give recognition to the supporting cast.
However, from a marketing perspective, for a drama to be successful and end with a big impact, the momentum has to be built up, so the marketing drive should be going upwards all the time. And the behind-the-scene making video is an important marketing tool. This has not been used to its advantage, more like misused actually…it goes everywhere but up…started fine, but became totally directionless. The pen-ultimate “Making Video” which is the last before the final episodes should depict the more impactful scenes – and there are plenty besides Park Sihoo-ssi’s. Eg: the final scene when Lee Haeung turned the table on everyone, the kidnap of the baby, the rescue of the baby, the meeting between Lee Bongryeon and the Queen…instead, it went to feature so many unimportant scenes some of which many of us don’t even remember!
A drama’s not all about the story, the acting and the production – they are important, but to have a successful run with rising rating, a good marketing campaign should drive it and this is where the drama fell flat – right from the start with the confusion on the drama’s name!
So it is a crying shame that such a well made drama is not getting the boost it needed on marketability.
Well lets hope your positive criticisms are read by those in this marketing co’s Management who matter ….. and they go on to finally make one big humungus effort at a cohesive impactful Making 13 on Eps 20 and 21 to make up for whats lacking so far. Hey such a beautifully produced and acted our drama like WCR deserves premium promotional treatment. It ought to be properly promoted for audience globally!
