What is a good Korean drama, especially a historical period one, that has no romance built in? Of a fated couple of the Romeo and Juliet kind? We saw how beautifully Park Sihoo-ssi’s drama “The Princess Man” turned out nine years ago. He certainly won the hearts of his audience everywhere, right?

And now, in his upcoming historical piece ‘Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비”, a fated couple will rule its audience’s hearts. A couple who will create the fate of the old Joseon dynasty and will also be fated to each other.

Park Sihoo-ssi as Choi Cheonjung, a fortune teller and Kingmaker, and his fated other half, Lee Bongryeong, a Princess and a soothsayer. 

He who wants to create a destiny

He being the greatest fortune teller and physiognomist during the Joseon times. Coming from a prestigious family but falling into misfortune, he had to live in exile as a lowly fortune teller. With his fortune telling ability, he reinvented himself and rose to become one of the most powerful men during the Joseon Dynasty. A hero unrecorded in political history, Choi Cheonjung read the fate of Joseon and tried to change the fate of the nation for the people. He gave his life to the woman he loved. 

She who wants to escape fate

She being the daughter of Cheoljong, the 25th King of the Joseon dynasty. Other than being of noble birth and beautiful, she also possesses mysterious spiritual powers. With the mysterious ability that God bestowed upon her, she could read the fates of man. But this will become a curse when she succumbs to human desires. Her ability is exploited and abused, but will eventually help the people of the world as she worked together with Choi Cheonjung who will become a Kingmaker.

Fated couple they are and with the still photos released by TV Chosun yesterday, they look like they will be making beautiful music together! Come 17 May 2020, “Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비” will premiere on TV Chosun! Such beautiful but poignant photos of this fated couple!

She is a Princess and soothsayer

她是朝鲜王朝第25代帝王哲宗的女儿李凤莲，高尚出生的她拥有倾国倾城的美貌和神秘灵能力。神赐予的祝福，给她神秘能力可预测人类命运，但在人类欲望驱使下可以成为诅咒。她的能力被利用，被恶意使用，但她最终帮助崔天中以造王者的身份帮助了世界。

他们是命中注定的一对恋人。从昨天朝鲜电视TV Chosun发布的照片，可以看出他们将会在2020年5月17日首播的“风，云和雨바람과 구름과 비”开始，一起创作优美的音乐，刷出明亮的火花！哪发布的恋人照片是如此的凄美啊！
