Choi Cheonjung will rise as a protector of his people
In Episode 9 of TV Chosun’s historical drama “Wind, Cloud and Rain 바람과 구름과 비 (King maker: Change of Destiny)”, we saw the slow but sure rise of Park Sihoo-ssi’s Choi Cheonjung as protector of the people of Joseon.
From young, he has been schooled by his father, Choi Gyung, the Governor of Gwanghua Island, to take the interest of their people at heart. They ensured that the people of the island worked hard and lived good lives without having to bow down to the upper echelon of the country.
He will rise as protector of the Joseon people
Not only that, they believed in fairness and became protectors to the common people, not allowing anyone to take advantage of them. The father of Chae Inkyu, childhood friend of Choi Cheonjung, was imprisoned by Choi Gyung for charging high interest on loans to the poor who were down and out.
Choi Cheonjung saw the injustice and suppression of the common people when he arrived in Hanyang, particularly by the Jangdong Kim clan. And this stirred his protective instincts. It may be my interpretation, but it seemed at first he was not prepared to get involved. However, the more he saw their sufferings, the more angry he became and it spurred him into action.

I appreciate the title of “Rise of the protector of people ” which describes the role of master Choi in the drama accurately. Ordinary people always need the protector for them in real life and audiences like the image of the protector in the drama. It’s so lucky that our favorite actor Parksihoossi acts the protector of people that comforts us so much.

The good education received from his honest father developed in him the spirit of justice which manifests itself whenever he sees an injustice (same spirit as Baek Si Yoon, Neighborhood hero). After years of silent life in the mountains, Choi Cheon Jung at the first apparition in the village, he was confronted with an injustice and he acted.
What is by nature is difficult to break. And by nature, reinforced by his upbringing, Choi Cheonjung is one who has fairness and justice in his soul. So when he saw Yong Palrong being beaten up by the Jangdong Kim thugs, he naturally reacted to protect the underlings. Thank god for people like him, that the bullied can be saved.😘
Choi Cheon Jung is a hero who tries to make the world a better place than when he found it. He will succeed , he will not fail, and his effort is heroic. I admire him for he fights the good fight.❤️❤️❤️
