The rising defiance against Lee Haeung from outside and inside
In “Wind, Cloud and Rain (King Maker: Change of Destiny) 바람과 구름과 비”, Lee Haeung, the Heungseon Daewongun and father King Gojong, thought he had everything and every one under his control. No one would dare to be in defiance of the most powerful man in Joseon or he will lose his head, be sent into exile or driven out of business.
But he will find that the more he suppressed, the more the rising tide of defiance will be.
His nemesis Choi Cheonjung is fanning this tide among the common people of Joseon. They are angered by Lee Haeung’s tyranny and disregard for their lives. If they thought that he would be better than the previous Jangdong Kim clan, they were wrong. He is much worst.
