Will Park Sihoo-ssi be the strong and sensitive hero in “Neighborhood Hero”?
Park Sihoo-ssi has played quite a few roles in his past. They have a couple of things in common. Firstly, there is always a romantic angle with a leading lady featured prominently in the lives of these men. The only exception being “Confession of Murder.”
Secondly, his roles are mainly of handsome, rich men, sporting branded, top-of-the-line suits, driving luxury cars and patronizing high class dining establishments.
From what we have gathered of his new drama so far, will “Neighborhood Hero” see a transformation of Park Sihoo-ssi?
Will Park Sihoo’s “Neighborhood Hero” be like the action hero role he played in “Haru”?
Will the role of ex-secret agent Baek Siyoon present a more mature Park Sihoo-ssi in an action oriented drama, sans leading woman or one only in a supporting role? No more high fashion corporate executive but an ordinary working class with his share of social and money woes. Will he look like how Seo Inwoo in “Prosecutor Princess” dressed down to visit his client who owned a small, hardly patronized dining and drinking joint out in some neighborhood alley?
I hope so! I think Park Sihoo-ssi has had his fair share of playing handsome, rich men in romantic roles that they no longer give him a kick. It is about time that this versatile actor takes on more that will test his skills and capability as an actor and push the limits of his talent.
“Cheongdamdong Alice” saw him besmear his impeccable, proper corporate executive image acting the “PTSD” Jean Thierry Cha with his myriad mood swings and “psycho” character. Park Sihoo-ssi carried this off to perfection!
Park Sihoo as the average man-on-the-street, your every day bar-man action hero?
Can Park Sihoo-ssi make another impressive transformation, this time into an action hero with a heart for his neighbors? Is Baek Siyoon the strong, sensitive hero that everyone knows and can associate with? The defender of the poor and weak and yet no larger than your average man-on-the-street or rather, your neighbourhood bar-man? Can he and his side-kick fight against the bad guys and save their neighborhood from harm?
We await anxiously to hear more of the plot and of course, to watch Park Sihoo-ssi in the heart of the action!
2016, please come quick!
Meanwhile, enjoy the making of Park Sihoo-ssi’s “Haru”, a short drama about an unforgettable day in South Korea. It is probably as close to the action we can expect in the “Neighborhood Hero” as Park Sihoo-ssi has come so far!
“邻家英雄”是施厚君的转型吗？
施厚君在过去演过好几个角色。这些角色有两个共同点。第一是总有一个浪漫的角度。在他扮演的人物生活中，一定有个女主角。唯一的例外就是“我是杀人犯”。
其次，他扮演的主要是英俊，富有的帅男士，穿着顶级品牌，奢侈西服，开着豪华轿车和光顾高档餐饮场所。
到目前为止，看过施厚君新剧的剧情资料，我觉得“邻家英雄”将会看到施厚君的转型。

以退伍秘密特工白时允的角色，施厚君是否会呈现出稍微成熟，动作演员一面呢？也许没有女一号，或者一个只是当配角？不再是高级公司主管打扮，会像普通打工平民，经常面对社会和资金困境。他可能会看起来像“检察官公主”里的徐仁宇，穿着平凡的便装，去那胡同，几乎没有人光顾的小餐厅见客户？
我希望如此！我认为施厚君已经扮演浪漫富二代的角色太久了。那些角色给他，他合着眼睛都可以演得出色。现在是该换换口味的时候了， 让这位多才多艺的演员担当更有挑战性的角色，考验他的演技和能力，把他天赋推到极限。

在“清潭洞爱丽丝”里，他完全把他多年累积的完美形像都给涂掉了，演出了“创伤后应激障碍”，情绪波动极多，“脑缠”的Jean Thierry Cha 这个人物来。施厚君把握住了这个角色的完美本色！
施厚君可以成功转型成另一个令人印象深刻的邻家动作英雄吗？是一位每个人都认识和有关联，坚强敏感的英雄白时允？乐心维护积贫积弱，但就是街头巷尾一般的人，或就是你家附近的酒吧服务员。他和他的跟班可否有能力打击坏人，并保护邻居邻里不受伤害？
我们期待听到更多的情节，当然，也渴望尽早观看施厚君的新剧！
