After a couple of weeks of heavier going articles, I thought since it is Friday…and TGIF! I will write something lighter today. What I write usually reflects my mood and as I am still in a philosophical mood today despite it being TGIF …
This song “I Can See Clearly Now” was what piqued my interest and my imagination when I heard it playing on the radio. It was written and recorded originally by Johnny Nash back in 1972, hitting the No 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Subsequently, the song was re-recorded by various artistes, hitting another high at No 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the 1993 Jimmy Cliff version – one which I enjoy.
It will be a bright, bright sun shiny day!
The lyrics of the song is exactly how I hope Park Sihoo-ssi is feeling now.
With everything that is happening around him and affecting him recently, I hope he has a chance to reflect and reflect deeply into his future. On what he will do to develop his career. Is gonna be a bright bright bright sunshinny day! Of course, same philosophy of glass half full or half empty, depends on how and what perspective we choose to see it. Our man is a smart man, I am sure his eyes are sparkling clear once he listens and be motivated by your chosen song Nance. I also believe he is also the type of person who gets insights and motivation and realisation of life’s ups and downs or what’s next in store by philosophical reminders including lyrics of songs. That’s the reason I kept bombarding him on Cat Stevens’ song titled Father and Son. However the more important issues on hand right now is his career, his Hoo Factory, so for now let’s play your song instead of my song (for those who don’t know what I am talking about, my song urge him to find a girl, settle down if he wants he can marry). By the way, even in the 70s I was already particularly attracted by this song albeit then I hardly knew much English, but I did understand the few catchy words “I Can See Clearly Now The Rain is gone.”” and its music was rather unqiue, it has an upbeat motivational impact.
Very happy, today, a little relaxed topic! Before a period of time, the author is a serious and profound point of view. I do not know if the proverb is that “It’s the sun on our street,” but it seems like the sun came shining on his street PSH, our beloved actor.
