It came out late last week in the Korean press that “Love After Love” which had Park Sihoo-ssi and Yoon Eunhye-ssi in the leading roles would postpone its theatre release till next year. There were differences in the reports on when exactly – February or March, so date yet to be confirmed.
A disappointment for Park Sihoo-ssi and his fans for sure as they were so looking forward to seeing the movie on the big screen. But then, it really doesn’t matter if it were love before or love afterwards. As loyal fans, we would be right there to support the movie and to support him, whenever and wherever it is shown! Right, ladies?!!!

What is important is to find the most appropriate timing to increase the probability of success for the movie. From what I have seen, heard, learned and experienced of the entertainment business, it is high risk and many factors play a part in determining its outcome. The best of everything – the director, the producer, the actors, the marketing, the distribution, you name it, might not ensure success. It can boil down to simply timing and luck!
Finding the most appropriate timing will increase the probability of success for “Love After Love”
So, given current circumstances and conditions, it might not be in the interest and at the best moment in the eyes of the industry professionals for the movie release. They should know best, particularly with their ambition to market in Korea, Japan and China almost simultaneously.
Whether it is love before or love afterwards, what matters is success. Success for Park Sihoo-ssi’s return and for the movie box office. So we can wait!

Park Sihoo in “Love After Love”, a tragic tale of lost love
The story as we know so far: Park Sihoo-ssi played Kim Sungjoon, a pilot grounded due to a hearing problem. Disheartened, he wallowed in self pity and went into a match-made marriage with Eunhong, played by Yoon Eunhye-ssi. During their marriage, he treated his wife with indifference. However, his wife passed away in a tragic accident and that was when he discovered love afterwards. He discovered how much he loved his wife and missed her thoughtfulness and loving care of him.
Packing her things after her death, he found out that she kept a secret, that of a first love, deep love. He decided to fulfil her wishes and return her ashes to her first love, who was supposedly residing in Jeju.

Although the release of “LAL” has been postponed for 2016, we can’t do anything. Just to wait, though I’m sorry. “Expectation is the mother of frustation” and to free us from the expectations of others lies the great and singular power of self-respect. So , we’ll wait patiently the high time when producers will release the movie. and we’ll support PSH ‘s performance in a dramatic role. Because , I think that what makes him fascinating in this intricate movie is the conflict, it’s drama, it’s the human conditions. How he deals the conflict will show us the kind of person , the main characte, is. As nobody wants to watch perfection. But if the main hero has the courage to ask questions, to avoid misunderstanding,even if he is hurt, he finally can completely trasform his life. And I think this is the message of the movie. And I’ll love the main character and the actor ,who interprets the main role, PSH, even before and after I’ll watch the movie.
