Bonggu-ya, we love you our celebrity dog!
I am sure you will agree that after travelling with his Hyeong Park Sihoo-ssi to Canada and appearing on Channel A’s reality TV show “Amazing Journey with Pets 개밥주는남자 – 개묘한여행”, pup Bonggu can be considered a mini celebrity. A celebrity dog!
His fame is not just in Korea among those Korean audience who have watched the show but he has also amassed a strong following around the world! Yes, many grannies and aunties who are fans of his Hyeong Park Sihoo-ssi have also become Park Bonggu’s fans too!
Aren’t they the coolest dudes?
Little Bonggu is not taken in by his celebrity status. Instead, he remains a down-to-earth pup. After his amazing journey to Canada where he experienced many firsts, he has settled back home in Buyeo. Nothing seemed to have changed even though his name is now known far and wide. He continues to be the working dog, taking care of his family, their house, their farm and chestnut trees.
I can vouch for that! He knows a friend from a trespasser and welcomed me when I visited in early October 2019, with his beautiful, big smile. But even though he was high playing with me, his working dog instinct was strong and on alert all the time. He went barking and chasing after a couple of trespassers who wanted a shortcut through his land!
Bonggu growing up fast!
Working dog, no doubt! But one that can be bribed with beef, surf and turf and other goodies! Yes, Aunty Nance came bearing gifts to make up for what Hyeong Park Sihoo-ssi didn’t give! Bonggu is one happy pup! 봉구 신났네! Woof! 🐶
But some things cannot stay the same, no matter that Bonggu is a down-to-earth pup. He is a growing boy, now an adult dog of over a year old. He has put on some of the weight he has lost when he was away in Canada. And our pup now sports a more mature dog look, with discerningly more black hair showing. Hyeong can’t say he looks like nurungji 누룽지 or scorched rice anymore, maybe burnt rice is more like it! Kekeke! 😂
I am glad to make the acquaintance of this down-to-earth celebrity Park Bonggu. And I must say, like young master, like pup. Like Park Sihoo-ssi, like Park Bonggu. Love ya both marni, marni!

相信大家会同意，与他的哥施厚君一起到加拿大旅行并出演A频道的真人秀综艺节目“给狗喂饭的男人–奇妙的旅行개밥주는남자– 개묘한여행”之后，幼犬朋谷可以被视为迷你名星。名犬！
他的名气不仅是观看该节目的韩国观众，他还有在世界各地的追随者！是的，许多哥施厚君的粉丝奶奶和阿姨们，也成为了朴朋谷的粉丝啦！
小朋谷不被他的名犬身份所影响。相反，他仍然是脚踏实地的小狗仔。在加拿大经历了许多首次的体验后，他已经回到了扶余。尽管他的名字如今已广为人知，但似乎一切都没有改变。他仍然是工作犬，照顾他的家人，他们的房屋，他们的农场和栗子树园。

的确是工作犬一只！但其是可以用牛肉，鱼，鸡等其他食品去贿赂的！是的，Nance阿姨带来了礼物，以弥补哥施厚君没有给的！朋谷是幸福的小狗仔喔！봉구 신났네! 汪！🐶
We having been growing up together in Canada!
虽然朋谷是一只脚踏实地的幼犬，但有些事情还是会变的。成长中的孩子，现在已经是超过一岁大的成年犬了。在加拿大时失去的体重，回家后，已经再长上了肉肉。现在，我们的幼犬看起来更成熟了，黑色的毛也长得更多了。 哥不能再说他看起来像锅巴누룽지，现在也许更像烧焦的米饭了！ 哈哈哈！😂
我很高兴认识了这只脚踏实地的名犬朴朋谷。幼犬和少主人一样，朴朋谷就像朴施厚一样。非常非常的爱你们俩噢！

My guesstimate Bonggu is about 20 or 21kg in weight. He looks about same size as my Rex here, but Rex at 6 months old now will have more to put on

Love this video so much! Bonggu wags his tail, so cute so loving so nice. Unlike those celebrity days always pulling the leash or weary of the many new things. And the common thing Bonggu shares with our Rex the country boy is the ever available supply of twigs and leaves to play and chew. Don’t need toys.
Love his bob tail….and he knows when to look at camera, though his Hyeong said he avoided looking at the cameras when they tried to film the show…Kekeke! 😄

You know this just came up my head, Bonggu must be so so very special that Senior Park brought him home. Not that they are short of puppies themselves, yet to bring one not from their own dogs home, Bonggu must be that special, which as we learnt, his specie is so limited in Korea. Perhaps Bonggu will become a father soon in order that breed bloodline will continue

We must accept that Park Sihoo-ssi’s journey to Canada, that has been envisaged by Channel A, for whom we congratulate them, wouldn’t have been so spectacular, so amazing, so interesting without Park Shiho-ssi’s pet, Bonggu.His dog is more than just a nice companion, but also very cute, very friendly, very clever, and belongs to an old Korean breed .And he has proved this in Canada that he is an individual with personality and peculiarity. He could accustome to new rules in Canada, he has got new friends, he could escape the fear for water and flying. I thinkPark SHihoo-ssi was very happy to receive congratulations for Bonggu, from different Canadians he met , whom Bonggu attracted his curiosity and interest, being so beautiful , with the heart on his face. And not only by them , but also by many of us who were watching this “Amazing Journey with a pet” whose main characters were Park SHihoo-ssi and Bonggu. This wonderful dog, now The Bonggu Star! Love the video you took. Bonggu-ya looks so natural, happily playing with the twig alone. No Hyeong Park Sihoo around like when he was in Canada. I love you Bonggu- ya and will be missing you and your stingy Hyeong very much this Saturday when both of you have gone back to Buyeo and Seoul. I very much enjoyed watching you running and playing happily with your stranger friends, not considering their sizes and habit. What a brave boy! Being such a friendly and well-manner pup, like your Hyeong, he thought they were his friends and thus not afraid of them. In short, I very much enjoyed the show in which I can feel tender love and care and bond among the three of them which are very touching. I really hope that we will see such a very good show feathering Park Sihoo and Bonggu-ya again soon. Until then be good and grow up happily and gracefully Park Sihoo and Bonggu-ya. Love you.
