Poignant article, Nance, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. On the very same day of your article, is the funeral of a beloved man who many of my generation highly respected. And the 4th funeral in one month that filled my headspace and busy messages all over. Shocking and sudden too. Funerals should remind us that life, (unlike the Taes, where only lip service is paid, immediately after that, is back to each and very own agenda), that life is worth being taken a closer look at what have we done, where are we now, and what stock taking lessons we ought to remind ourselves. So that we have a better chance of living a life that we don’t regret when our turn comes.
