Good! I ditched my Monday job so now I can go watch episode 9 now. Yippeees

Prosecutor CWH is gathering so many rolling stones as he tumbled and fumbled. Yep by episode 8, it is rather evident that he has been barking up the wrong tree. Something that even his colleague reminded CWH that lately you are not like yourself. What about those telephone records of HJW that I gave you, you haven’t seemed to have taken a lead with those. I just don’t want to land ourselves with some blemish of our profession/conduct (sorry my English is not very good may not have translated the exact meaning of his colleague’s, as I watched Chinese subtitles)”, these are the words of his colleague hopefully would serve to jolt CWH out of his deep mindset but to get back to be himself and to do what is necessary in his work.

The media in my country continues to give us horror stories of the antics, behaviour and characters of real life chaebols and their family members. Scary that they can mete out physical and emotional abuse even on spouses and children. Wow the beating and belting scenes of that heartless and soulless Tae Minho comes to mind ( shudder! )

There is this one little thing I noticed regarding Chairman Tae, the powerful ferocious lion who lately (in episodes 8 and 9) lost all his marbles so to speak, to a point he peed himself in front of everyone at the funeral. I wonder that outright embarrasment was within the calculation of Tae Suho, because it was Tae Suho who ordered to get the chairman to the funeral. Anyway, the thing that I wanted to say is : this old man and HJW seems to have a higher degree of affection between them than with the rest of the Taes. When he was in coma in the 2nd (?) episode, HJW was dottingly wiping the chairman with a towel. Surely that can’t be just a for show kind of act, as she doesn’t need to do that, plenty of paid servants/nurses, qualified highly trained medical staff who can do that type of tasks. Now in episode 9, when the chairman appeared at TMH’s funeral, of all the people, he only called out for HJW, and HJW’s reaction also amazed me, she so readily presented herself towards the chairman and they had a solid hug. If HJW has always deemed the old man as one of the “you all” lot, the way she replied to Tae Yura about “you all”, how dare “you all” this and that, etc….if HJW has the same view of her father in law is also a one of those full of filth type of chaebol, my take is she would not so readily went to hug the old man at the funeral…hmm……will these little scenes later become significant in influencing CWH’s view/intent towards the old man?
