If Park Sihoo-ssi’s character Cha Woohyuk in TV Chosun drama “Babel 바벨” is caught in a compromising position, he would not be the first man in the hot soup he is in.
In my view, he well deserves the consequences because he was led too much by desire and guilt that he can’t see beyond protecting a woman. A woman whom until this moment, I am still not 100% convinced that she has honorable intentions where he is concerned! Now, that would be another article…
He was driven by desire and guilt
As a public prosecutor, he has an obligation to treat all cases fairly and impartially, uncover the truth and bring the culprit to justice. However, in the case of the death of chaebol third generation Tae Minho, he put himself in a compromising position.
Cha Woohyuk is already in a compromising position as he has for about a year now, been having an affair with the wife of the deceased. That leaves him as a possible suspect for murder. Or he could also be considered an accessory to murder especially since the woman has been subject to domestic violence by the husband and she might have motive for killing him, and with him helping her in sympathy. Even if he has been absolved of murder, he should have excused himself from taking on the case as it is likely that he would be partial, biased and compromise the outcome.
Relentless interrogation pushed Tae Suho to suicide
Worst, because of what he saw in the USB that was one of the evidence of the case, Cha Woohyuk breached investigative protocol by his actions. He blew his top when he saw Tae Minho cheating on his bride before and even on the day of their wedding with his sister-in-law! So angered he was that he threw caution to the wind and turned off the surveillance camera in the interrogation room and had a go blasting the suspect Tae Suho.
He put himself in a compromising position
The result? Tae Suho simply said he was tired and needed to rest and then he threw himself off the balcony while in custody in an attempted suicide! So where does that leave Prosecutor Cha?
In a compromising position that leaves him vulnerable! He himself will be interrogated for his unprofessional handling of the case as we can discern from the preview of episode 6 of “Babel 바벨” and TV Chosun’s press release yesterday. Will the investigating officer be able to dig the dirt on him?
Time to use your head to think instead!
Prosecutor Cha, time for you to think with you head and not with some other parts of your body! Uphold your professionalism and do as you have taken oath to do. Please do not be led by your nose! All might not be as it seemed! And beware too that Mrs Tae has you as her hot target for causing grief to her beloved son. Money and power talk, and she will not let loose any mean to put you down!

通天塔（哑铃）：不妥之立场
在朝鲜电视 TV Chosun的电视剧“通天塔（哑铃）Babel 바벨”中，如果施厚君饰演的车宇赫角色陷入不妥之立场，他将不会是第一个男人被灌入热汤。
在我看来，这是他应该得到的后果，因为他有过分的欲望和内疚，为了保护一个女人，做事情太鲁莽，不谨慎。为了一个直到这一刻，我仍然不是100％确信对他可否有好意图的女人！这标题将会是另一篇文章的分享……
His desire for her put him in a compromising position
作为一名检察官，他有义务公平公正地对待所有的案件，揭露真相并将罪犯绳之以法。然而，在财阀第三代泰民浩的某杀案中，他把自己置于不妥协的立场。
之前，车宇赫已经处于不妥的位置，因为在过去一年里，与死者的妻子有着婚外情。在这种情况下，他也可以是谋杀的可能嫌疑人。或者他也可以被认为是谋杀的帮凶，特别是因为这女人是遭到丈夫的家暴，她可能有杀死丈夫的动机，并可以与他为帮凶。即使他已被解除为谋杀嫌疑人，他也应该拒绝接受案件，因为他可能会偏袒，偏见并妥协。

结果？ 泰苏和简单地说他累了，需要休息，然后在被捕的时候从阳台上挣脱，寻自杀！这样，车检察官将会如何呢？

车检察官，你因该用脑袋思考反省一下，而不是被其他肉体给牵着！坚持你的专业精神，并按照你的誓言行事。请不要被你的鼻子引导！一切可能都不是你所认为的！还要注意，泰妇人已经将你作为她的目标，因为你害了她心爱的儿子。 金钱和权力说话，她绝对不会放弃可以将你置于死地的机会！

He makes an interesting character study, this complex Cha Woohyuk. How will his story in BABEL develop? How will it end? TGIF! The weekend beckons again! ❤️
For me, her pregnancy came from nowhere, being 3 months old means, she was pregnant when she was beaten with kicks in the parking lot by her violent husband then she slept with Woo Hyuk and later it seemed she was assaulted/raped by her husband, all in in the same day. Let’s just say she didn’t kill Min Ho but, excuse me, to a woman in an early stage of pregnancy such violence, sexual abuse and emotional shock would have provoked a miscarriage or at least a bleeding so realistically speaking the story line is less convincing not only in this aspect but in others too. The title Babel reflects the mess of the plot. Whose is the baby? If Woo Hyuk would be convinced that was his he would tell her right away but he has his doubts maybe he thinks that could be of her husband. The pregnancy is older than the day of Min Ho’s death anyway. If she knew at that time that was pregnant and whose the child is then normally she should have acted more protective with her body even if she couldn’t say a word to that bastard just to ask for divorce.
Watch the episode in the car park again. She did reach for her stomach during the attack. So she knew she is with child and maybe that is her way to protect it.
“If you don’t have integrity , you have nothing.”[H.Kravis] Prosecutor Cha Woo Hyuk, although in love of a person suspected of crime, although thinking her worth of his love, he must never put himself in a situation that will sacrifice his dignity, his integrty, his self-worth to be a prosecutor. Morality is of highest importance for him and his profession, and I’ll be unhappy for him to be obliged to pay a high price for this. On the other hand , I can’t think of him to just give up on the person he loves, because this situation is not ideal. Great relationships aren’t great because they have no problems. They are great because both people care about the other person to find a way to make it work. And I hope Prosecutor CWH will find a proper way to make their love go on without breaking the integrity of his profession. Go Prosecutor Cha! Go! Don’t jeopardize neither your profession, nor your love. That’s why I’m waiting with eagerness the next episodes on this Saturday and Sunday.

I like how you urge CWH to engage his head to think instead of other parts of the body. This is exactly in my head when end of episode 1 when CWH kissed her in the open where ANYONE could see that illicit kiss. It was what I implied was the reason for that kiss, not guilt, not fairy tale where the moment of pure love when nothing else matters….kekeke
Stairwell is not a conspicuous place. It is on the 30th story and where no one would venture…
Park Sihoo-ssi 박시후-씨 朴施厚君 still is not a zero patron spot. doctors nurses, staff etc or someone else whose relative has just died, might also go to the stairwell
