We arrived in Osaka in the wee hours of yesterday morning, tired out. I was absolutely smashed. Not having had much sleep from being overworked for the longest time, not having any sleep the night before my departure for Japan and then again during the red eye flight over to Osaka. I was so wound up with anticipation.  Anticipation of being able to see Park Sihoo-ssi very shortly in Ise Shima. It has been a while!

Unfortunately, we did not know Park Sihoo-ssi’s travel schedule early enough, otherwise, instead of being in Kyoto, we might now be in Nagoya to welcome him at the Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport this morning!

Or maybe not.

Even though I like him a lot, I think waiting to welcome him at the airport is quite a tiring thing to do. I must be getting old! I have had first hand experience – twice. Once in Guangzhou and then again in Shanghai. The latter, I happened to arrive almost the same time as him at the airport and had the chance to greet him in the restricted area in Shanghai immigration in the quiet. And these airport experiences are enough for me.

You need to be prepared for this airport welcome.  First you have to go early to find yourself a good spot in the waiting line. You will be fighting for a space among the hundreds of screaming fans, sometimes thousands as we saw in Shanghai when he went to film his movie “Scent”. Everyone will be arriving early, some maybe 3 – 4 hours ahead – I am not exaggerating, mind you!

Then you will have to wait at your spot throughout or risk losing it. You can’t leave to feed your hungry tummy and no toilet break! Be prepared that after his flight has touched down, it might still be a couple of hours later before you see sight or sound of Park Sihoo-ssi. He sure likes to dilly dally in the confines of immigration and baggage. I was out of Shanghai immigration at least an hour and the half before he appeared through the immigration gate!

And after all that wait, you only get a couple of minutes before he breeze by you and disappear from sight in the waiting car!  

Will it be the same this morning in Nagoya? We will know shortly!

在机场迎接施厚君的到来

我们是在昨天凌晨抵达大阪，累坏了。我是绝对崩溃了，因为工作繁忙，最近没有多少睡眠，何况我去日本的前一晚都没有睡到，昨晚又搭乘红眼班机。我是如此的期待。期待就快在伊势志摩能够看到施厚君。我们已经有一段时间没看到他本人了！

不幸的是，我们之前不知道施厚君的行程安排，否则，我们现在不会是在京都，而今早会在名古屋中部国际机场欢迎他！

也许我们也不会这么做。

虽然我很喜欢他，但我觉得到机场去欢迎施厚君是一件相当累人的事情。我承认，我老了，身体不行了！我有过第一手的经验 – 已经两次了。一次是在广州，随后又在上海。后者，我碰巧是跟他大约同一个时间抵达上海国际机场，有机会在上海出入境安检禁区内迎接他。有这两次机场迎接的经验，我觉得已经足够了。

如果妳要去机场迎接施厚君，需要有心里准备。首先，妳必须提早去给自己找个好位置。妳将会跟其他上百名尖叫中的粉丝争取妳等候的空间，甚至有时可能会有数千位粉丝，就如那时他去上海拍摄电影“香气”时。提前去最稳定 ，因为每位粉丝都会提早到达，有些可能3 －4小时前，我并没有夸张！

然后，以免失去妳找到的空位，妳不能离开岗位。因此，妳有可能没有时间饮食填饱肚子，也没有机会去厕所！妳也得知道，施厚君航班可能已经降落，可是妳仍然要等1-2个小时后，他才会出现在妳的视线。他是个“老莫”，可以慢吞吞的在禁区里逗留好久。在上海那时，我已经出来至少一个半小时，他才从出入境海关门口出去！

虽然妳等候了多时，可是妳实际上看到他的只是那几分钟，幸运的话可能1－2分钟。他会如微风一般的飘过妳身边，然后坐上那等候的轿车，从妳的视线消失！

今天早上在名古屋，会不会和往常一样？我们一会儿会都知道！
