Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics opens tonight, 9 February 2018 in South Korea and will run till the Games closes on 25 Feb 2018. It will be bringing together athletes from 92 countries to compete in this sleepy small town.

So what has this to do with Park Sihoo-ssi you may ask? Nothing and yet everything! His home country will be playing host to their first ever Winter Olympics in Korea and being Korean, I am sure he would be standing tall and proud.

  1. And in his “love in ski” ig posting on 9 Feb 2017 exactly one year ago, I somehow knew it was his way to hint that the snow scene was connected to his new drama! So glad my hunch was right!

  2. Simply love the South Koreans’ meticulous efforts put in to host this auspicious event, which my country news focus is on it all the time. Just look at those pretty hand knitted trees’ decoration in the photos Nance has shared (Thanks Nance), to make guests feel the warmth by just imagining those comfy wollen knit are on their bodies/necks. This event will add further to more knowledge of South Koreans which as you said has everything to do with PSH, the very man who we supporting is a South Korean himself. No doubt he will be very proud. Perhaps there might be stories like total oblivion foreign strangers might catch the on going MGL popular wave and decided to check out what MGL is all about, after all, K drama is deemed a very noticeable and liked by many foreigners type of South Korean’s export. A little joke as I caught a glimpse of how we the Aussies joke about our own ignorance, some comedians were talking about this winter Olympics that means many are heading there to cheer our Aussie atheletes, and these commentators (comedians) were saying make sure you go to South Korea and not North Korea because it is very different.

    • Chai Hua Loke, I reread with a smile on lips that you wrote on instagram on February 10 last year: “love in ski” Hmmm…..let me guess ….you telling us you found love in this ski resort. And you have double meaning of the word love: you love skiing and you also found your love (which I interpret as romantic love)….? Have I read too much into your words? You know I am that fan who always reminds you to “find a girl, settle down, if you want you can marry” Cat Stevens song…..therefore please excuse me for reading too much into your message😉”.

    • Daniela Maria Miricescu so nice of you to remind me what i blabbed on PSH’s ig a year ago 👏👏👏 I have completely forgotten about it coz last year this week was the most traumatic time fighting off Bob’s vet. I probably just blabbed on PSH’s ig to release my trauma. Perhaps it’s time for me to nag him about Cat Stevens song ” find a girl , settle down…if u want u can marry…..” again😉

  3. My admiration and congratulations for South Korean people ,who with determination, hard-working and pride have made possible the Winter Olympic Games 2018 take place in their country. Let the motto proposed by Pierre de Coubertain in 1924:”CITIUS, ALTIUS, FORTIUS”, meaning “SWIFTER, HIGHER, STRONGER” to still remain the ideal of sportsmen all over the world to be better in sport , bur also as human beings!

  4. Today, on the first day of the Olympics, let us remind with great pleasure the beautiful preview of the Olympic Winter Games made by Park Si Hoo, as a good sports lover, through the set of movies and pictures posted on Instagram’s in 7, 8, 9 and 10 February 2017!
    February 7, 2017: High 1 Mountain Top
February 8, 2017: Go to 평창 (Pyeongchang)
February 9, 2017 High 1 Mountain Top 하이원 리조트 (Highon Resort) 스키 3 일째 (3rd day of skiing) love in ski
    February 10, 2017: Good morning ~
    To all athletes, success!

    • So wonderful of you Daniela Maria Miricescu so clearly stating all PSH’s romancing the snow series of Instagrams from 7th to 10th February 2017. I must admit I have totally forgotten about his this continuous series of snow land Instagram. I am of good memory but the days around the death of the love of my life Bob my dog other than the memories of my Bob everything else blurred in my memory, even those of PSH’s social media. 🤣Thanks for your great efforts of recollect his 7th to 10 Feb 2017 Instagram. While I type here Korea came out as a united one Korea winter Olympics team. Wonderful.👏👍💪

  5. The opening of the Winter Olympics was a spectacular, surprising, emotional spectacle. I was glad to see it live at the national TV station in my country. In Korea what TV post broadcast it? (KBS does not).
The Olympic flame was lit by the famous figure skater Kim Yuna. It was a good opportunity for me to remember that in 2012, Park Si Hoo was invited to represent Korea at “Yumi Katsura 2012 Grand Collection in Tokyo”, with the thematic presentation “The Wind of Asia” and stepped on catwalk beside another famous figure skater, the japanese Miki Ando. We know he is also a good skater.
