Last night, Park Sihoo-ssi’s Choi Dokyung in KBS drama “My Golden Life” Episode 31 was ousted from his home by his ruthless grandfather after he confiscated everything. He was left out in the cold with nothing except the clothes on his back and whatever little leftover money in his wallet.
Starting from zero was what Oppa Choi has to do, with no help from anybody. Not his family as his grandfather has issued his order to not give him a single cent and which I doubt anyone would dare defy. Not his best friend whom he has set such high hopes to start his own business, only to find him backing out of his words. And maybe not even the woman he loves! The only person who cared about him was Liubi, his secretary!
Having lost everything, Oppa has to start from zero
Poor Oppa, he is starting from zero, but he is not deterred, even if he has to take the worst possible job as a cleaner in the gym and take on other people’s dirty laundry. A huge sacrifice for one who would never have dared to touch other people’s used items previously!
That’s the fighting spirit, Oppa! Show your tyrant of a grandfather you are made of sterner stuff! Make a success of yourself no matter how difficult! I have every confidence in you!

昨晚在KBS电视剧“我黄金光辉的人生”第31集中，施厚君饰演的崔道京被无情的祖父没收了所有的东西，从家里赶了出去。除了身上的衣服和钱包里剩下的一点钱之外，他什么也没有了。
偶吧Oppa 崔道京得从零开始，没有任何人可以帮助他。他的祖父给家人下了命令不可以给他一分钱。我怀疑他家人是否有人敢违抗。他寄托的最要好朋友，希望可以一起创业，也收回他的承诺，让他失望。可能他所爱的女人也还会继续不理睬他！唯一关心他的就柳秘！

可怜的偶吧Oppa，他需要从零开始，但他并非气馁，即使需要降低身份，在健身房做最低微的清洁工人，他都坚持着！这可是大牺牲，因为要清理别人用过的脏衣服是不可思议的，之前的崔道京最害怕的就是碰别人用过的个人用品！

I am disappointed by his best mate. I thought this mate is of better make. Well if that’s what writer wanted his mate to be, that’s the “mate”. Perhaps writer wants to throw in some surprise elements, viewers to expect best mate to be by CDK’s side but turns out, nuh.
I think his friend was protecting himself. He always told DK that he would not be in tiff with either DK mother or grandfather since they are family friends. So, I think his friend was not out of character. I wish DK was a little bit more organized planner and planned his out from the HSG, instead of running the events as he did. But oh well, he will truly learn how to swim, with literally no cash and no plastic to use for his living.
Dear Veena well said. His mate did say to DK that he always felt DK is a bit different. Nevertheless I thought he probably would low profile helped out. I certainly agree is all to protect the mate himself as we know what Chois can do and will do. 😊
Ladies, I was disappointed too with Kim Kijae. Now CDK knows how cruel the world is! But rest assured, I always think that when one door closes another will open. And something I read on the KBS page for My Golden Life has been puzzling me for a long while and now I think Writer So has it planned all along. Hyuk’s partner 김성훈 Kim Seongjhun in the DIY furniture shop? Since Day 1, KBS has written that he is a friend of CDK (도경의 친구)…so now, we see him and CDK together in the living room of the shared house, maybe he will be CDK’s savior and true friend? We live in hope!
Park Sihoo-ssi 박시후 씨 Kim Seongjhun – a friend of CDK? I did not know that. Since I don’t read Korean, I only look for subtitles for complex sentences. That is truly wonderful. And as you said, when one door closes, another opens. Also, there is a saying “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. We all want such friends and friends like KiJae are disposable in nature. KiJae truly does not have the guts and he is the kind who walks the lighted path. Nothing wrong with that and also he was truthful with CDK from early on. His character is totally that of a chaebol. But, it is good that they changed CDK character and that he will know who and what constitutes true friends. Just imagine growing up like that.
Living in a golden prison. Kim SeongJhun letting CDK live there in the shared house will be appreciated and reminiscence for a long time by CDK and he will be a changed man when everything is said and done. Thanks to Jian- she changed him for the better and she will be not only his support but a great partner in what ever venture he will get into, since she is more versatile with just about everything. Jack of all trades. As they say, there is a woman behind every successful man, and I think this will truly be so in this case. I think the writer did this since this would be the only way to put Jian and CDK love line in the forefront. Looking forward to the next episode.
